Really?, hosting a party without Jägermeister is illegal here in Germany. Also 1 bottle of vodka won't be enough. Minimum 0,5-1 bottle per person. Of course beer is always a must but he was only talking about the hard stuff.

I dont host parties often, but i go to them often, and o always bring a bottle and a 12 pack, and whatever isnt finished they can keep. Anybody who respects the host would do the same.

Here in Finland we don't have such a problem as anything over 80% is considered not to be a beverage and is thus not sold in Alko, which in turn makes Everclear illegal

I make a blend of about 600ml barrel proof jd and 400ml jd honey. Add 250ml of honey syrup and 250ml of lemon juice. Some muddled mint leaves and some orange bitters to taste. Add some water to dilite to your preference. Best batched cocktail you can make

@Matthew Norman Oh theirs absolutely tons of alcoholism. And asia has a lot of work obligated alcohol consumption. But all I mean is the main mindset Americans generally have is what is the cheapest and gets me as smashed as possible. I get a bit more of a sense of cultural respect for spirts and craft cocktails around the world. Meanwhile Americans kinda just drink vodka and tequila shots to get slammed as possible. And drink low calorie alcholic beverages like white claw. Just my perspective. I know ever country has its party culture. But pretty much every American I know that drinks drinks until they hit blotto. And I just dont like to drink that way. I hate feeling sick from alcohol. My moms former partner was a french immigrant and chef. And I met many of his friends from all walks of life. And they all drank often. But not in excess. Meanwhile most people I know in the U.s drink like maybe once a week but they get very drunk when they do.
I always buy 2 things when I have a party. 100 proof New Amsterdam and Jagermeister. Sometimes some Black Bacardi if they want rum and cokes

Thou mine to go to beer is Moose Drool, which rounds up $10 a six-pack; I don't expect people to serve that at a house party. I prefer craft beer that is more malty-forward over hop-forward, generally on the darker side, like amber or brown. I always look at the Ibu on the beer; if it is low, it is my type. That kind of good quality beer can be precisely so for cheap beer that ever one can in joy, for the most part, I would say that you cant go wrong stocking up on Corona.

Box and send y’all some ski soda bc on it own it’s amazing if ya like a sweet citrus type soda

Replace the smiroff with other types of vodka and id agree with it.
I'm not a personal fan of smirnoff, but it is by far the best vodka for a party. Extremely neutral, mixes well, and cheap as fuck.

Evan Williams is a great party whiskey. It’s much cheaper than Jack, and it’s a bourbon instead of a sour mash so it’s much more pleasant straight.
You either don’t know what constitutes a bourbon, what “sour mash” means, or both.
Because a looot of bourbon is made with a sour mash.

Evan williams is bourbon. I know this because it says it on the bottle. It might not be a good bourbon, but it’s cheap and palatable when mixed with just about any kind of mixer.
@@hektik2074 Sour mash is not a distinct style of whiskey, it’s a technique. Jack Daniels is a Tennessee Whiskey, which is literally just a bourbon that’s been charcoal filtered. It’s also made via sour mash.
Wild Turkey, Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark, and Woodford Reserve are all made via Sour Mash, and this list is not at all exhaustive. They’re also all bourbon.
Acting like “sour mash” is distinct from bourbon is like treating column still and pot style whiskeys as distinct categories. In the USA, at least, a pot still doesn’t make anything a different legal category, it’s just a different technique that can be used to get a different profile.
Case in point, Boone County makes a pot still bourbon. Also made, as it happens, via sour mash.
