Ps 1 has jumped accordingly but we got to pay it because it's un-interrupted game play. (I'm so desperate for one of these I'll spend 11 years learning the C language to write my own games on the Win 95 with the 3.5 or a little better operating systems!)

What I really want is PE3, the 3rd birthday, and the price is skyrocketing now. Probably it's rare due to being released late in PSP time, so many people completely miss it

Why do reviewers always bash this game it wraps up the first games story very nicely awesome strategic gameplay you gotta have skills to beat esp on the extra modes after beating the game the first time
probably the best game in this category ever, mixing science action , survival, the story is quite good for a sequel, i only struggle for the final boss and especially to collect enough ammunition and ringer s solutions, also the fact that there s a number of monster and once you kill them all you can t evolve anymore. but apart of that it s perfect , next i would put galerians for it s story but the playgame is cumbersome, let s say it get a while to get use to it , but the ambiance is great, and third resident evil 2, and that s it
Square lost rights to franchise. So no chances for sequels or remakes. Imagine PE remade like Resident Evil 2 was or like RE1. But Square is more interested in milking Final Fantasy than reacquiring rights to 'forgotten' game.

Man, the memories I had with this game when I first played it. Dying to the bosses more than once, getting the lousy ending. Then I got better and went for the best ending and it felt good to get it. Too bad the 3rd game kinda tossed out the Aya/Eve relationship out the window....

the Mass Effect style will be perfect since it's a third person RPG, all those skills will blend in perfectly with the style. and the "battle mode" needed to be remove if possible, make it into a real time battle system that allows us to dive in or out combat freely without activating the battle mode.
Depends on whom you ask. People have different tastes. Some like 1 more, some like 2 more. As a fact 2 is closer to a RE game, unlike the first one, which played out closer to a jRPG.

I'm probably in the minority in this comments section, but PE2 just didn't do it for me compared to PE1. I wasn't into the tank controls and the storyline was just a bit too campy for me. I did try it and almost beat it, but I wasn't able to beat the final boss. Which is why I'm here 😂
Please help I am stuck at 4:43:13 you pick up a message from pierce but when I use the phone there is no message from pierce. Do you have to do anything so the message appears?
The main thing to do is after the incinerator fight against the big vacuum cleaner monster. When you meet Kyle you have a chance to open the Moon Gate and return to Dryfield to get Pierce. If you don't do that then you'll get a different outcome.

I got the Holy Water out of the safe, but what does it do? All it says is, 'Equip this and see what happens'. I've had it equipped for a while and all I see happening is this apparently useless item taking up a space where you could have something actually useful in there. It would help a lot if it actually told you what it does. Anybody?
Wow that was fast! I had an idea it might have been something like that - when I was fighting that big tiger-like thing in the mines, it wasn't inflicting the kind of damage I would have expected. I remember the 'eau de toilet' one being useful against something big and nasty towards the end of the game, but I can't remember what ... it's been around 20 years since I've played this and having started to watch this video, it got me inspired to get it out and play it again; this was always one of my favourites from the PS1 days. Thanks for the quick response and this is a great walkthrough. I think I'll watch the first Parasite Eve next - it was never released in the UK so I never got to play it, but I'm interested to see how it all started. Take care :-D
It's what people would call the "True" or "Good" ending. Rank can be figured out by the rewards, however ranking system in this game isn't a regular one. Since rank determines the rewards for Replay Mode if you get the same rank it will increase it by one tier, so you get new, higher tier rewards. In a way, ranking is meaningless, but you can check guides with the list of rank/rewards.
I managed to L Rank and thr Bad ending. I was just wondering do you know if there any walkthroughs or video guides to get the other endings. I was just wondering if you get the S rank does that unlock every weapon/item etc in the game???

I cannot find pierce or flint..I think I went too far in the shelter and screwed that chance up. Pierce suv is there but hes not

Items like those have passive perks like status ailment immunity. That particular item when attached reduces damage received by 25%.
