When i was young ,I played this game, And my first time that i saw scene The women in restaurant transform body to evil, it's very bad dream for me in that time and still long stay in my head. And present it still scary for me.
One of my favorite PSX games of all time. Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 are the others. And the Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver games. LOL I also like the first Parasite Eve as well.
I said to myself "losing 10 BP for escaping every battle is going to add up big!" Fast forward to the post-game rewards: "300,000 BP awarded" "....nevermind."
First, update the graphics (preferably keeping them pre-rendered...somehow) and sound while including good if not great voice acting (preferably with folks that are not overexposed the way, say, Jennifer Hale or Troy Baker are). Next, you clean up the mechanics that need fixing and expand upon them slightly to facilitate better control and include new options to mess around with (superior melee weapon mechanics for those insane enough to master the tonfa, for instance). Thirdly, toss in some additional gear and possibly one or two new ANMCs. Some extra variety on this front is welcome. Finally, just give us more of the world to explore and interact with! Being able to go through the entirety of M.I.S.T. HQ would be cool (even if we are only there twice during the game). More areas in the Akropolis Tower could be visited. Ditto for Dryfield and Neo ARK (just how many biomes did we miss?). NPCs such as Mr. Douglas might give Aya optional side quests in order to reward the expanded exploration. Why not allow Aya to choose who she speaks to after ringing up headquarters in order to hear interesting tidbits about her present situation?
+Ragitsu do you know why they won't remake this game and if they did it would suck ass? Because younger gamers these days hate tank controls and fixed camera angles, and this game would not be the same without them. If they tried to remake it it would turn into resident evil 6.
Well... Square decided to renew the Parasite Eve trademark in Europe in UK in recent months so, as slim as it is, there's a chance of it happening now, but it's probably be a remaster or a port. Fine by me either way tbh.

Yeah.. I cant beat the last boss abiut 15year ago or more than that(cant finish the game😭😭).. this speedrun really make me want to play it again to finish the game..
Bc gunblade has an interesting glitch. If u use r1 blade attack then use r2 shot attack as soon as r1's blade attack hit the target then it'll cause huge damage😂
Parasite eve was an amazing game. It was a genre defining game that was unique. Unfortunately PE2 decided to go down the Resident Evil route. Im not saying that RE wasnt good, im just saying PE shouldve kept was made it soecial instead of copying another game
Not necessarily: 1. Each time you beat the game with the same clear data save you always get a different rank, never the same one. So if you complete the game as fast as possible you can unlock all the items with just 13 playthroughs. This can be done on ANY difficulty. 2. Clearing it on nightmare mode, while also getting about 100% kills, allows you to unlock the higher ranked items easier. This is because nightmare mode gives you a rank boost so you can get Rank S easier. Now completing it on nightmare mode is better if you intend to unlock items like Gunblade or Hypervelocity but it's not recommended if you want the items quicker. So if you really want the items that badly you can complete replay mode 12 more times to unlock everything (your first game would always be new game mode). Additionally, every time you complete the game after the 13th time, instead of getting a rank you will get a 300,000 BP bonus reward (ONLY USABLE for replay mode), but well enough to satisfy your buying needs. And you never have to touch any of the higher difficulties either beyond replay mode.
Ahh I see thank you very much^^ Because I just completed the game a couple of weeks ago and I thought that Replay mode would be something like "new game +" in Resident Evil4 or newer, meaning I just can keep all of my weapons^^ Maybe my dream will come true and I can start the game with a MP5 60+ Clip loaded with Spartan ammo^^ Thanks again for your answer^^
No remake. Please just let Aya Brea rest in peace. She died in 2008 on the 3rd Birthday (totally different game). They need to re imagine this franchise. Like instead of just Aya Brea with mito powers, why cant the player create their own character and have online multiplayer? Like imagine a mitochondria apocalypse where a small group of survivors (players) have mito powers they can use in 3rd person melee and first person shooting combat against mito mutants or other players. Set this all in early 2000s tho or 2020.

Incredible run! Could you tell me what button combinations did you have to press in order to make so much damage with the gunblade?
You press R1 to slash then press R2 to pull the trigger as the gunblade is in the air. or you can hold R2 once you have already pressed R1.

Gunblade is the easiest to achieve this and only works against certain enemies that are in their vulnerable phase.
