Just a note: I heard you guy's, after the two VHC episodes, James, my narrator, will only make very rare appearances for background of historical information.
Please I beg you. Unfortunately I had to mute this video. The voice over creeps up and just smacks you. Each to their own. Personally your own voice overs are what make your videos yours.
In the scheme of things my opinion doesn’t matter - however I concur with fmods above about the AI narrator. There’s just something unnerving about it (and to be honest, I’d much rather hear you narrate the whole video!) 🙂
Agreed, great video but found the voice over a bit jarring. My partner and I thought it was maybe a strong contrast between accents that caused the effect. Perhaps, if it was a Australian RUclipsr using a AI voice over, the effect would be less pronounced (I watch other content with AI). Always worth trying new things, occasional appearance may work okay.
Another great video Stefan! I was the leader of the group you encountered on Mt Selwyn Rd. We initially split the group into 2 groups of 9 but ended up all together anyway because there was almost nobody else on the tracks. Buffalo Range Track is an awesome drive hey, even though most of the time we were up in the clouds, glimpses of the fantastic views were truly atmospheric. In any weather the Victorian high country never fails to exhilarate the senses. We camped at Leinster Flat, would have been great to catch up with you for a chat over a beer... Cheers!
Hey mate, yes, it would have been great to catch up for a chat around the fire, maybe another day. You guys were the only cars we encountered on the whole trip. I'm not a fan of such big groups, but I understand how a two-group trip can merge. We spent once one 1 1/2 hour on King Billy trying to get through a 12-car group, but you guys did it how it should be done smoothly and without a single issue or even hold-up. Clearly, good bush etiquette and knowing what you are doing.
As much as I love your videos, this new narration is a deal breaker for me. I don't watch your videos to listen to disjointed, 'poetry'. I've always enjoyed your own down to earth narration which perfectly fits the experience of visually coming along on your journeys. No more thumbs up from me I'm afraid and unsubscribing is probable. Sorry to be harsh, but this change is not for me. Having said that, the trip looks awesome, thanks for sharing.
Outstanding footage and editing! Great inspiration for my own Vic High Country trip later this year. On a side note, everyone hates the sound of their own voice, but definitely more authentic if you do the voice over yourself, plus you have a cool accent! 👍
Hi Stefan, at the 24:32sec mark...... I just wanted to ask how you manage such delicious meals while away? Do you freeze the meat and how do you store the vegies? Looks delicious!
During the narration of brewing a coffee I was expecting a billy brewed coffee, the voice was authentic aussie bush voice, then cut to the press version, didn’t fit the theme…… hahaha! 👍
Hi Stefan, thanks for all your content. Will you be doing a video on the Rutx11 setup soon? I'm also a fan of your distinctive accent. James is good, but it's just too much of a contrast for me *-))
Yeah never tire of the vhc , Australia’s number one location, yeah don’t like the narrators voice, sounds weird, stick to your voice Stefan , looking forward to part 2, Terry’s small chair looks very uncomfortable

I think moderation is key with James' narration. Cheers
Congrats on the 50k subs
Each to their own, but I thought the voice-over narration was really great!

Nice Vlog mate
Thanks 👍

I should mention the narrator sounds like an excellent and professional at his craft.
thanks for the feedback, he will make very few appearances after the VHC series as I have taken all feedback on board.
@@AlloffroadAu Good to hear Stefan. I really do respect your honest opinions and reviews.
Another great vid! Excellent footage.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Stefan. Have not been to Beverages Station so will need to venture up there to check it out. Cheers
nice spot for some camping mate just no big swimming hole I found

Awesome, thank you!
Stefan.I don't mind the voice over,great video👍👍👍
Good to hear
Beautifully filmed matey 👍🏼
thank you
Hey Stefan, have you done a video on your implementation of the RUTX11, would be really interested to know more about the install/setup process.
have done bits and pieces but no dedicated video yet, it's planed but need to find some time
Hi Stefan, at the 24:32sec mark...... I just wanted to ask how you manage such delicious meals while away? Do you freeze the meat and how do you store the vegies? Looks delicious!
pre-fry meat at home and vac/freez, frozen veggies and microwave rice :-)
@@AlloffroadAu thank you Stefan for getting back to me 🙏
Awesome video mate, wish I was doing a trip like this. Not sure I can take any more of this narrator though.
one more episode of James after that very rarely. Pity I do like his voice
Come to where the flavor is. Come to Marlboro Country. That Voice is awesome mate 😅😊 very interesting video. Like your setup
Thanks! 😃

yes, I have done segments of the Rut11 and Poyinting in other videos but may make a dedicated short review
Technically not a booster, just a router but together with a Mimo antenna, it works better as for instance, a CelFiGo booster
Nice video. I forgot, what is your engine sounds like a v8.
thank you 1 HDFTE
Who was Denis Bartell?
a very dear friend of mine and one of the greatest explores and adventures of his time www.desertwalker.com.au/
Being honest I prefer your voice as the voice over.
thanks for the feedback, he will be not much in use after the VHC episode
Great Vid but agree with some comments ,AI voice over is weird. Possibly some humour based AI would enhance the Vid.
yep will be phased out
Stefan, your voice is much better than your narrator.
you recon? Thanks for that I always get scared if I hear my own voice lol
Next time when saying " thunder and lightning" can you sing " thunder and lightning very very frightening
I wouldn’t mind the narration if he didn’t say I instead of Stefan
yes rookie error if I use in future will be as 3rd person and more for BG info
Your voice is much better than narrator. Sorry.
thank you
OMG, loose the AI voice over.
Loose or lose
As in - let it loose?
Or lose as in - get rid of it?
Have you weighted your vehicle fully loaded, you have more stuff for a week than I had driving across Asia to London😂
get rid of it.

That AI narration is awful
Yea won't be there much after the two VHC videos.
@@AlloffroadAu The screen shot of the recorded track is good tho. It's good to see the route you've taken.

Ditch the AI narrator Stefan. As difficult as it is understanding you only occasionally, it’s much better than listening to that imho.
thanks for the feedback mate it's it will be rarely used after the VHC series. A big Desert series is coming
