You guys have come so far in terms of footage quality, including Demi more, and having bubs snoozing in the back is awesome! Your Patrols are mint & so capable of these tracks in summer. A little note to the novices out there - we nearly drowned my old 80 on the 3rd crossing on the crooked river track at the Kingswill bridge end. 3 inch lift on 35s. There was nothing but sand in the bottom & there was a bit of flow. I had seen a drowned ranger in that crossing in the past. My experience scared the life out of me & my partner & I learnt a lot on that crossing. Be careful up there after any rain viewers the high country can be unforgiving ✌️
Welcome back to the VHC.Your vids from 5 years ago or so when you and young Ky got amazing shots of some of our classic storms rolling through were what helped me find you on YT. And for you to do the 3 favourite tracks over new years - wow! I’m hoping to get out there and do those in the coming months. One track I do recommend is Conways Trk. Comes down into Kingswell Bridge from Hibernia track from the high plains rd. It’s very steep with incredible views across the valley. Worth it for a future trip. Keep up the work mate. 🍻
Hey team, showing the paper map at the end of the vid and re-tracing the route is really useful. Big time saver for anyone planning their trip. Good call ⭐️ thanks.
Refreshing change going back to what you were doing a while back. Tracks that I can do without enormous tiers and modifications. I managed Blue Rag in an old Prado with just bash plates and decent all terrains. We just got back from Robe in SA. The drive from Beachport to Robe on the beaches and in the dunes was epic, should check it out. Loved this video bud. 🤙🏽
Haha. I was on the same tracks but exactly 1 day ahead of you. 😁 Billy goats always busy that time of year. The day we went up there was a Hilux and a Patrol both with broken rear diffs. Luckily they managed to drag one off to the side of the track and one to the top so we were able to continue on to The Pinnacles. The track climbing up the range at the end of the Crooked River Track was most likely Bulltown Spur Track.
Great video as always. Very relatable content. We must of missed you by a few minutes as we passed those FJ45 cruisers coming down blue rag. We came in via Tom groggin and had to take the middle track due closures. Was not very pretty. Will prob come in from the Dargo side next time and explore crooked River. Looks lovely
Another epic trip. The frequent heavy rain in the past years have really taken their toll on Billy Goat Bluff Track. I don't think I've seen it that eroded for more than a decade. I'm yet to do the Crooked River Rd as I don't have a snorkle but would really love to. The last time we tried, many crossings were deep, so we abandoned the plan. But looking at your footage, it seems the river depth is shallower at the moment. I need to time it right next time we go. Enjoyed this episode. 👍
Blue Rag Range track is the "must do" track when in the VHC. Irrespective on how much you've done it before (& I know it's such a cliché to say), but the views never gets old. And Billy Goats Bluff track in another "must do". VHC is such a fantastic 4WD & camping destination w/so many varying and diverse tracks & POI w/in short driving distances. That's why I love going there.
Was watching your 2018 VHC trip again yesterday and then this pops up. Love this sort of content in my fave part of the world. On NYE I was staring at blue rag from Mt Murray. It sounded busy during the arvo, some great ridgeline drives!
Great video, and Happy New Year to you all 🎉 Victorian High Country, is spectacular. Yea Demi, you should take the Cruiser to the High country, better take one of the Nissan's though to pull you out... lol 😆 😮 Cheers Rob and Shelly from Tasmania
Great video, loved it. Lots of information shared was really useful, definitely putting it on my list of places I must go, thanks! Darche 270 looks good on the GU too!
Great adventure guy's, can't wait for the next installment😀 Demi you might be able to set a new record, quickest 80 series to the top of billy goat!😲# barra swap👍
@@TylerThompson90 Thanks for including map info Tyler. That needs to be included with more trips by everyone that does these kind of vids. Useful if we want to plan and attempt those tracks.
Great video guys, well done and good on you for cleaning up after other idiots 👍🏻 A pet hate of mine is morons throwing rubbish that isn’t combustible into the campfire. Aluminum and glass does not burn, recycle them! Some people are just oxygen thieves
Great vid and a must do.... and remember revving shit out of chainsaw and showing your wife the manliness, is always mandatory.. almost as much a clicking tongs a few times before turning a steak :)
Luv your video and watch it lots of them but one thing that your voice is too soft making me wanna sleep😂 i think you need to rise your voice like your GQ hardcore…

Love your high country videos. Even back with you and Kai in the Nav. Demi’s sense of humour is top notch. Can’t wait for the next one.

Cheers! Would be good to get it down there
@@TylerThompson90 Thanks for including map info Tyler. That needs to be included with more trips by everyone that does these kind of vids. Useful if we want to plan and attempt those tracks.
A fantastic area to explore. I’ve experienced snow on New Year’s Day up at the Pinnacles
That sounds amazing! Would love to go back in the snow again!
Awesome vid guys for years I called that bridge kings well bridge but if you look again it’s king will bridge hahah
Excellent video.
Hopefully there sometime in 2024
Great vid and great tracks. Are you worried about leaving car and camper alone while checking out tracks ? Keep up great content.
Yeah does cross my mind but tried not to leave it too long and in an area where there was plenty of people about and all locked up
Amazing views
Great video guy's. Got the other half keen as mustard to get to the VHC. A1 camera work too. 😊

Great video guys, well done and good on you for cleaning up after other idiots 👍🏻
A pet hate of mine is morons throwing rubbish that isn’t combustible into the campfire. Aluminum and glass does not burn, recycle them! Some people are just oxygen thieves
Just did blue rag range. Unfortunately river was too high for crooked river just after the rain.
GREAT video,nothing more to say!

Definitely take the 80 to the vhc when its up and running.
Need to do rig rundown episode off all the cars mate
Beautiful views absolutely spectacular 👍👍
Thank you 👍
Bloody nice area that.
Have you used the Opus camper in bad weather yet?
Yeah next episode mate, got some use in the rain
looks like a great trip.
do you have any recommendations for beginner tracks that wont require a snorkel?
All the ones we did on this episode except Billy Goat Bluff would be challenging if you don't have much experience
Definitely take the 80 😊
Awesome video , just curious to what is happening with the 80
She's currently in the middle of an engine swap!
Why'd ya cut the rear scrubbies off mate?
Hmmmm...... tuna tacos!
Take the 80 series everywhere. What are you talking about better than driving that Nissan she’s gonna be a weapon Demi
Great vid.. One Day.....ya up to Brisbane 4 X 4 Show ??
Unfortunately not this year, we will be in Melbourne and Sydney this year!
Not another Blue Rag and Billy Goats video. Come on, these have been done to death!!
Demi hasn't been before so she wanted to go, bunch of other VHC episodes coming doing new places
Little blokes a tank carrying the logs around.
He's built tough 😂
Interesting that the old girl is better and safer for towing down hill than the later model one , is it because the oldie is a 6cl diesel 🤔
GQ has reduction gears and better at breaking! More controlled
whach the man go
When video of Demi show and tell of all her tatoos?
Great vid and a must do.... and remember revving shit out of chainsaw and showing your wife the manliness, is always mandatory.. almost as much a clicking tongs a few times before turning a steak :)
Of course! haha!
You need to get out more
👍🇦🇺
Luv your video and watch it lots of them but one thing that your voice is too soft making me wanna sleep😂 i think you need to rise your voice like your GQ hardcore…
