the howling ,, dog soldiers ,and ginger snaps are three of the best transformations ! American werewolf in London is one of the best as well , those that relief mostly on cgi , not so much !
Not transformations in Dog Soldiers and Ginger Snaps. Where did you see that? Both are B-Movies with low badget. Underworld and Van Helsing have the best.
@@stathis8285 in dog soldiers and ginger snaps the transformation take a lot more time , the dirt ball who shoots the dog in the begging starts to transform , gets taken out before he can fish , anf ginger we get to see yer transformation begin shortly after she`s bitten , generally the whole second half of the film ! both were interesting , would have been nice if they had shown more ! been watching werewolf films since I was five !
Kris Holden-Ried was still playing Dyson in "Lost Girl" when he started filming for "Underworld Awakening", so he had quite a lot of experience at playing a werewolf.
If you do another werewolf transformation video, please check out Janos Skorzeny's werewolf transformation from the TV series "Werewolf" when he faced off against the main character both figurative and literally.
OMG sometimes I feel like I was the only one to watch or remember that show. I thought the werewolves in it were amazing. Glad there's someone else out there who remembers and loved that show.
Nothing will ever come close to _An American Werewolf in London._ That movie set the bar for werewolf transformations, and because it was done with practical effects, the fact that the movie is over 43 years old is irrelevant. It was timeless.
Though not on this list because it is from a TV show, not a movie, George's transformations in the BBC show Being Human are very well done, especially since the actor, Russel Tovey, does a superb job of depicting the absolute hell he is going through during it.
Sooo, the thumbnail was just made up? I sat thru this whole video to find out where we might get a werewolf in space, and the answer is "not in this vid". Very cross right now
@MonkeyMind69 already done, but thanks for the info - it made me double-check. Bummer about the thumbnail; werewolves in space could have been a cool movie. Hmm... I wonder if they're just ALWAYS wolves in space, bcz there's no lunar cycle
Did he say the effects were done by John Landis? NO, "He revolutionised the transformation scene" You think he's going to rank Werewolf movies and not know who was responsible for one of the most iconic sfx scenes in horror film history?
The writter of "Twilight" had contact with real Wolf Shifters and that inspired her to write the books. This is how it happens in real life. Shifters do exist.
Good list, an honorable mention i think is Hemlock Groves werewolf transformation, granted the werewolf it self is just a wolf, but the transformation to me is one of the most unique ways i've ever seen done.
Have to disagree on Bad moon. The transformation was terrible but the werewolf was amazing. The story too. Based off the book Thor. They used animatronics for the werewolf. Everyone I knew that saw it loved it. Saying it was a gem for suck a low budget. Also Silver bullet great story and movie but a werewolf looked like a bear. Way more than the curse did. Just saying. Bad moon is a fan favorite most said the same thing. The transformation cgi was terrible but the story and cast were great.
I don't what it will take to get it through the heads of creaters of these videos that the wolf characters from Twilight are not werewolves. They're shapeshifters, which are different creatures.
How the transformation in being human where George is transforming and the vampires explaining what is happening to him step by step, not being listed is a crime. I don't care if it would have been the American or the British version.
0:38 XD staaaaap, you were doing so great until now... that wasn't a werewolf transformation but rather an animal morphing... they're morphing into wolves
I believe you made a mistake in the calculating . The title is the best werewolf transformation not acting... So i guess you should switch the number one and two😂😂😂😂😂😂
And I did like that movie wolves with Jason Momoa but I really don't care for that wolfman look neither I like it when there's some scary ass looking monster beastly figures like in Van Helsing
I'm going to watch, but I already disagree with the list. I just don't think there are 25 good werewolf movie transformations. No more than 10. The transformation was different for David because it was his first time. Eddie had done it before, had control of it, and loved it. As did his siblings.
I don't like werewolves like in the Twilight movies I feel like it's disgraced to actual werewolf movies those dogs aren't werewolves so they're just big ass dire wolves like in game of thrones so it's not really a werewolf I hate that I think one of the best transformations I've ever seen was when Van Helsing first come out that s*** was dope and all the underworld transformations
You've already started your video off with false information. The quote unquote werewolves from The Twilight Saga are not actual werewolves. They do not suffer from my canopy and do not transform into actual lycanthropes that are half man half wolf. They are more of an animagus as they turn into a direwolf. Please take this put of your video. lol the twilight movies really took werewolf movies back a whole generation and messed things up for real werewolf fans.
The hand part is why I don’t like it. The stretching of palms for some reason makes me hate the transformation. Don’t like the werewolf itself either. Needs to be more humanoid.
the howling ,, dog soldiers ,and ginger snaps are three of the best transformations ! American werewolf in London is one of the best as well , those that relief mostly on cgi , not so much !

@@josephmummerth Νο. Νeither of them has a transformation. Ginger Snap is the most stupid werewolf movie i ever see.
One of the make up artists from American Werewolf in London worked on The Howling, hence the similarities between the transformations
When I first watch dog soldiers, it scared the crap out of me now we can watch it with no problems
Kris Holden-Ried was still playing Dyson in "Lost Girl" when he started filming for "Underworld Awakening", so he had quite a lot of experience at playing a werewolf.
The Van Helsing werewolf should have been higher up. Ripping off the skin like that... chef's kiss!
In Serbian myth, werewolves would carry their human skin after transforming. Must be were that came from.
for me the Best transformation still ´´An American Werewolf in London´´! Perfection.
If you do another werewolf transformation video, please check out Janos Skorzeny's werewolf transformation from the TV series "Werewolf" when he faced off against the main character both figurative and literally.

Howling was by far and away the best
An American werewolf in london is and always will be better.
Actually, the werewolves in twilight are not werewolves. They're wolf shifters , there is a difference
Sooo, the thumbnail was just made up? I sat thru this whole video to find out where we might get a werewolf in space, and the answer is "not in this vid". Very cross right now
Thumbs down 👎 to demonetize. Don't reward their bad behavior.
@MonkeyMind69 already done, but thanks for the info - it made me double-check. Bummer about the thumbnail; werewolves in space could have been a cool movie. Hmm... I wonder if they're just ALWAYS wolves in space, bcz there's no lunar cycle
Rick Baker, not John Landis.
Did he say the effects were done by John Landis? NO, "He revolutionised the transformation scene" You think he's going to rank Werewolf movies and not know who was responsible for one of the most iconic sfx scenes in horror film history?
Yup I thought the same thing when he gave credit to John lmao
first of all twilight seriously not a werewolf movie u should be ashamed
Neither were the Underworld movies so shut up
The writter of "Twilight" had contact with real Wolf Shifters and that inspired her to write the books. This is how it happens in real life. Shifters do exist.
Yeah, the shifters aren't even werewolves.

@Mordraneth laughing at the truth? Sure, keep doing in, You'll see who was right all along.

22:10 Ahhh, brings back memories... My ol' dad and I during my teen years. Good times.
American Werewolf in London is the best werewolf movie of all time. No other werewolf movie has come close to that movie.
The wolf transformation in twilight movie saga is too generic and boring lol
Have to disagree on Bad moon. The transformation was terrible but the werewolf was amazing. The story too. Based off the book Thor. They used animatronics for the werewolf. Don’t forget the iconic I Was A Teenage Werewolf
Yeah nothing tops Van Helsing’s werewolf transformation
Wtf was up with Larry talbots(Lon Chaney Jr) second toe
The transformation scene in Bad Moon was the worst part of an otherwise excellent film.
I don't what it will take to get it through the heads of creaters of these videos that the wolf characters from Twilight are not werewolves. They're shapeshifters, which are different creatures.
Twilight not ! Period ! Peace ✌️!
Underworld by far the best transformations and effects. Second comes Van Helsing.
I know there's a few werewolf movies that you left out...
How the transformation in being human where George is transforming and the vampires explaining what is happening to him step by step, not being listed is a crime. I don't care if it would have been the American or the British version.
Dam i just realized Kate played in Van Helsing n Underworld didnt kno it was same person
Lol why's the thumbnail a zombie in a space suit? 😂😂😂😂😂
0:38 XD staaaaap, you were doing so great until now...
that wasn't a werewolf transformation but rather an animal morphing... they're morphing into wolves
Some of these effects are chessy AF! And is it really necessary to keep showing the same scenes repeatedly??
I believe you made a mistake in the calculating . The title is the best werewolf transformation not acting... So i guess you should switch the number one and two😂😂😂😂😂😂
And I did like that movie wolves with Jason Momoa but I really don't care for that wolfman look neither I like it when there's some scary ass looking monster beastly figures like in Van Helsing
the narrator sounds familiar

Twilight?? Ok...
The cgi transforms suck. love the practical effects. I wish they would do more of them in todays movies .
5:55 Lucian and his second generation breed are called lycans, not the first. Why do videos like this always screw up easy info? lol
bc they care about clicks and viewtime = money
they could care less about being exact
Absolutely not. #2 is perfection. #1 on your list is campy. Interesting, but campy. #2 is #1. And that ain't no bathroom joke.
Everyone knows that the GOAT werewolf transformation will always be AWIL hehe
👍👍
Nope. The Howling has it beat.
@@tommyapocalypse6096 but the howling wasnt as iconic so just by sheer cult standards AWIL trumps it.
If Teen Wolf transformation is not in this, I'm unsubscribing
Ok the show's Teen Wolf didn't make the list, but at least the original Teen Wolf made it, so I'm gonna let it slide
I remember watching the howling when it came out. The only thing I didn't like, was the girl looking like a sweet dog.
🤣🤣🤣

Not a fan of the American werewolf in London transformation. Not at all.
The hand part is why I don’t like it. The stretching of palms for some reason makes me hate the transformation. Don’t like the werewolf itself either. Needs to be more humanoid.
Oh yeah the Howling. I remember that one. As a little boy that was a scary movie. American werewolf was more funny & a better movie.
