Tennocon is a convention, but it's also like a really big devstream where they reveal and talk about upcoming expansions. The ambition of Digital Extremes is pretty crazy, this Tennocon they showcased, among other things, a major new story expansion called "The New War", a new system where you'll be able to fly your own customized ship around with a crew of up to four and engage in ship to ship combat with enemies, and even board and hijack enemy ships, called "Warframe: Empyrean", a new open world area set in a bizarre interdimensional space called the Void that will also somehow involve time travel, The Duviri Paradox, a new system called "squad link" allowing players to connect to other squads and complete objectives in real time to help them with their mission, even potentially on the other side of the solar system, a new "kingpin" system similar to the Middle-Earth "nemesis" system, and two new Warframes. Most of that stuff will probably be out late this year.
The best thing about Warframe is that because there is so much content now, you always have something you can work towards. You just start at the beginning and keep moving forward.
Warframe has an amazing story and awesome quests that help tell it. A few of the main quests add new gameplay mechanics that make playing even more fun.
Warframe has a sense of agility and power I've NEVER experienced in any other game. It truly is unique gameplay that I think everyone should at least try.
I say give a shot the game is definitely fun however I think you'll get overwhelmed the game doesn't explain things to well and even for a person like me who been playing Warframe for a while I haven't even grasp on everything you can do but also I will say the commuitay for the game from my experience has been super helpful and awesome people.
Its not really overwhelming once you've gotten your priorities straight for grinding, doing story missions. But if its too much you can just put some of it aside and relax and play just for fun. And yeah warframe's community fanbase is better than most games cuz they actually help you in some ways like which area should you farm for materials faster or where to get these items or these for other missions. Anyways, I'd say its worth the shoy
Warframe is a fantastic game. The community is one of the most welcoming there is. I have over 600 hours in, and I have to say that every minute has been worth it. To answer some of your questions: Yes, you do get a dog (called a kubrow). You can also get a Kavat (A cat like animal). The Warframes you see in this video are only the three starter frames. There are over 40 different frames in the game, each with their own unique abilities. Warframe is a lot bigger than people think. At TennoCon 2019, they announced that they are rewarding a random player a $250,000 trip to space. The trailer is going to be played for new players when the first start the game, to give them an idea on what is going on in the game. I would recommend playing on PC, but hey, that's just my preference. Also, the game has one of the best F2P economies out there, and the premium currency can be earned by trading with other players.
Try it, use Excal, because the other two is easy to get, Excal is more new player friendly, and it's got the heaviest armor, PC, please... its free to play, you won't loos a thing...

You want a game to start without hope? Project Zomboid is for you. It literally starts with the game telling you that you will die no matter what and you are only prolonging your doom.
FYI: update announced at tennocon 2020 - available Aug. 25th 2020 on all platforms, new (3rd) open world, new community designed warframe and a bunch of other stuff. It's never too late to start this free to play journey :)
I know it's been a month since this video came out. This game I can 100% recommend. By far one of the fairest microtransaction systems in a free to play game, and one of the most helpful communities out there!
to give you a bit of info there are in total 40 different equip able warframes which each have their own abilities and strong suits as well as different stats and then in terms of what we call "Prime" warframes there are a total of 25 but in reality only 24 are obtainable because one is exclusive to people who played in closed beta and purchased it from a founders pack. prime warframes are upgraded better versions. that while they have the same abilities as their normal counter parts they have better stats and better mod able features. there is also another third type of warframes that is currently the only one of its kind but they said that they might make more in the future. i will not reveal that warframe type's name as it has spoilers related to a quest.
This cinematic is quite good how they have integrated it into the game, After you wake up (pick you Warframe) you are in that cinematic seen facing off the Grineer.
It's one of my favourite games of all time. It's free and gives more content than a free game usually offers. Every thing is in game for you to obtain. It's an extremely grindy game and it's long lasting. They've started making open worlds for each planet on the star chart. There's a variety of game modes and team based missions. It definitely is not a game that will hand hold you in the beginning though. But the community is pretty great in helping out new players. I've played for a year and i still feel like i have a lot to do. There are 30+ frames to choose from and all vastly and distinctly different from each other regarding abilities and appearance. If we count their Prime versions it's in total 60+ frames to collect. There are so many play styles when it comes to a frame, it will take a while to know which ones you prefer more. The arsenal is gigantic and you aren't limited to any set weapons. I say give it a try. But it's a game that will require a lot of time... Anyone here who plays Warframe religiously can tell you, you can be 200 hours into the game and you'll just start to scratch the surface story wise and learning how to play.
It's a fantastic game, but the new player experience can be rough but if you get through it, this game will be worth your time. I reccomend getting someone who plays the game to help you or watching a guide on youtube.
Clearing things up and some of your questions. They hold their own convention annually, you can get both dogs AND cats, a large variety of cosmetic armors for them and a lot of customization capabilities for their stats and behavior in combat. The 3 "Warframes" in the cinematic are the beginning frames, like starter pokemons but your weapon choices aren't limited to which one you pick, so they aren't really classes (they have 4 abilities and a passive like league champions)(frames are remotely controlled suits by the way, to clear up confusion about how the tenno "just left"). The cinematic is supposed to be a part of the rehashed intro, as in, the new tutorial segment of the game is being redone, because the game is a bit intimidating for new players right now. Some information on Mag, the frame you seemed to have preferred. She specializes in telekinesis but sadly she doesn't have an ability that catches bullets like in the trailer (she kind of does but she doesn't hold the gravitational force, she gives the enemy the gravitational force, making the bullets they or their comrades shoot gravitate towards them and deal damage over time to him and anyone close to him, although they are planning on adding the one on the cinematic as an optional upgrade path for the aforementioned ability) There are around 50 frames right now, in the game fyi. I'm pretty sure no one would ever bother reading all this unimportant detailed info but the warframe community in general is really kind and generous, you'd be actually shocked how toxic free we are compared to some other large game communities and people really try their hardest to compensate for the intimidating lackluster new player introduction by supporting new players or giving them information beforehand to get them started so I feel like it's a means for me to pay it forward, and trust me, you will get so many discounts by prospering veterans that have currency to spare and 10 people in the regional chat all answering any questions you may have that you will really feel a need to pay it forward sometime.
Its an amazing game and there's always a new batch of new people so you wont feel like you're trying to catch up to veterans unless you make it that way.
I can't say it's super accessible but it's not unforgiving either. There is a fairly informative wiki, so much so that often players will tell you to refer to it--noob or no. The community as well is very friendly most of the time, unless you beg for stuff in the region chat. So a quick question that you can't find through wiki would usually be met with a prompt answer. The game really opens up about midway when you just "Get it". All the gameplay systems just click at once and you're flying through hallways wrecking hoards upon hoards of enemies without any remorse. The action in this cinematic is basically how the game plays throughout once you understand all the mechanics, modding, and movement system. Best of all, it's free.
fun fact the 3 frames you just saw are made from cloned corpses here are all the types of frames prime frames=the original frames which are made using dead bodies and the infestation/zombie cancer normal frames=clones of the prime frames umbra frames(named after Umbra Dax)=the result of someone going through the transformation while still alive
The things he is throwing are Kunai, which is basically a throwing knife. The Shuriken is more of a star of knives. Love your reactions man, also this game is more than worth the time, and the content is set up in a way where you can do whatever you want and not be left behind.
As a note i don't know if you've played destiny but its not all classes, thats 3 out of around a 40 frames not including prime versions which are better and upgraded versions of basic frames.
The middle one is called Mag and I don't think she currently has the ability to stop bullets and send them back, they mentioned wanting to add that ability during Tennocon.
5:00 those are only just the 3 starters you pick one from. They released the 40th warframe a few weeks ago and the number keeps rising! (40 not including the Prime variants) Edit: is you will try it on the Xbox I don't mind helping you at the start
IMO, You should started following warframe first and wait till they finished their rework on its new game experiences. They are currently working to make the game better for new players. Hence the new opening cinematic after all this time.
Warframe is a great game BUT one of its greatest criticisms is not being easily picked up or having a true endgame. HOWEVER- for old players a special tile set is being added soon and the new CGI trailer is part of the game’s start being reworked to better aid new players in understanding and starting the game.
The learning curve is very long to the game, I will not lie. I am a grandmaster founder, meaning I supported the game when it was still in it's infancy. No one knew how far the game would come, or is even still yet to go. But the game is massively rewarding to play. It's tons of fun, there is so much cool shit to see and do. They keep adding to it all the time, and it's still a free game. The community is like no other, they even have their own Con obviously. Seriously, try it. You can try it and if you don't like it, no harm no foul. But I am willing to bet you will enjoy the shit out of it, like I have for years.
it isnt exactly easy to get into as its rather indepth but once you do youll find a hard time putting it down, also the three starter frames excalibur, mag, and volt are 3 of the *40* frames in the game; this cinematic is going to be the new opening for first time players in a future reworked newplayer experience
Play Warframe. Record reaction on "Natah", "The Second Dream", "The War Within", and "The Sacrifice" quest. Highly do not look at spoilers or lore videos. ???. Profit.
Those are the 3 starter frames. There are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more to choose from later on. This game is a masterpiece, the only thing is it can be pretty daunting to a brand new player so a lot of people tend to stop playing if they don’t have higher level friends helping them out. But other than that games a total blast. Open world sand boxes have been added in with more coming in the future, team space combat is coming soon, endless customization for both the cosmetic looks of your warframe and weapons and your builds. Ridiculous amount of weapons to choose from. And DE is constantly adding new content completely for free. This is only just scratching the surface, I can’t recommend the game enough.
Those are just the 3 starter frames, there are about *40* total warframes currently in the game with 2 more confirmed on the way, not even including the primed or enhanced versions of certain frames you can obtain.
You ask if this is good. Tell me, how do you feel that a FREE TO PLAY game outclasses AAA games and puts them to shame. That's the power of 200 Canadians with a DREAM! XD
Im a MR16 that mentors newer players on pc. Ingame name is DrouwGon. If you start playing it on pc send me a friend request. Id be more than happy to show you the basics. Its what I do in the game anyways. But make no mistake. There is a LOT to learn so it can seem really overwhelming at the start. Just remember everyone had to go through it at one point in time
Oh trust me bud this game is fun takes a bit to get to end game ,but not too long, plus theres way more than these 3, though all of them are pretty op. Also yes they have their own convention.
Well, Warframe has always been a game of "oh shit what is going on what is this" since it first came out. That's never changed. But you can also just jump right in and not worry about specifics while you get used to the gameplay.
I have to wan you, this game is not the most beginner-friendly and can be rather overwhelming at first, but you get a hold of it eventually. just try to get a hang of it before christmas, trying to understand both the base game and the Empyream update will be quite the challenge.
it's a good game but warning you might get overwhelmed at first with just how in depth it gets but it gets better I've been playing for three years and it's still one of my favorite games
I was holding back on this game for such a while until a year and a half ago, and I always enjoy games with lots of stuff to do. Mag looking dope as always, by her name, she's the second one.
If you’re gonna start playing plz don’t give up on your first mission like every other beginner. If you need to, watch some beginner guides for the game, there are tons of them that help you understand what you’re doin. Edit: There are 66 warframes right now and two new ones will come out soon giving you a total 68 warframes to choose from with their own unique abilities. Those three are just some of the warframes you can choose to start playing the game and you have the opportunity to get more as you continue playing the game.
Believe me when I say it is not it's not difficult is not impossible it's an absolute amazing game and you can play it the way you want no I'm not promoting it I'm just speaking from my own experience I've been playing the game since it release and I couldn't be more pleased
The game is definitely quite confusing, doesn't hold your hand, doesn't explain a lot of things at the start. It's like being dumped into a completely different world you know nothing about, but if you stay a while, you find out how the game mechanics work, all the different puzzle pieces click together. Although at that moment the game throws you for a loop with the amazing cinematic quests, completely subverting your expectations. That said, due to the game not explaining much, majority of information you gain will be through other players. Warframe has one of the best communities in my opinion. There will always be people willing to show you around, explain things and even give you a few goodies to help you out. However, no matter how good the quests are, or the mind-blowing the plot twists, not a single Warframe player will spoil those experiences for you. Warframe is definitely a goal-driven game. It will not hold your hand and tell you exactly what to do. You make that decision. Maybe you see a cool looking Warframe, or a weapon, tearing through enemies like butter and think to yourself: "I want that". You can have that. Sure, it might take you a few wiki searches or the global chat to find out where to get it, what resources it requires in order to build it and some time to actually do it, but in the end you will have it. If that's what you enjoy - setting yourself a goal and achieving it then Warframe is the game for you.
Do it! It's easy to jump into, but just go through the star chart. Also try to have an open mind of letting the story unfold. Warframe is pretty cool in the sense that you have to tap into the community and get to learn more about the lore, mods and customization. You can obtain more weapons and frames as you go and you dont have to pay for anything unless you want to. You could just farm and not spend a dime or you can get some dope skins and add ons to support the game and the creators of the design for the skins which are normal ppl like you and me. And please do let's plays and stream or record your reactions to playing the quests. Especially the Sacrifice and The second dream and war within. Just dont forget to upgrade your mods as you begin lol
They're not classes, more like characters, each with four abilities and at least one passive and different armor, health, and shields. Some Warframes are better for certain situations. You can use any weapons with any Warframe. These are the three you can choose from at the beginning. To get the other two starters plus dozens of other ones, you'll have to get their blueprints and build them.
The game can be confusing at first but im just here to say when u play warframe you can get new warframes by buying the blueprints and grinding for its parts cuz sometimes new players see the platinum price on warframes in the market makes them think its pay to win...
To answer some of your questions:
Yes, you do get a dog (called a kubrow).
I am a 6-year 3500+ hour vet and I still get goosebumps watching this.
Try it, use Excal, because the other two is easy to get, Excal is more new player friendly, and it's got the heaviest armor, PC, please... its free to play, you won't loos a thing...
I literally just got into the game after watching Tennocon 2019
PC or console?

You want a game to start without hope? Project Zomboid is for you. It literally starts with the game telling you that you will die no matter what and you are only prolonging your doom.
FYI: update announced at tennocon 2020 - available Aug. 25th 2020 on all platforms, new (3rd) open world, new community designed warframe and a bunch of other stuff. It's never too late to start this free to play journey :)
I know it's been a month since this video came out. This game I can 100% recommend. By far one of the fairest microtransaction systems in a free to play game, and one of the most helpful communities out there!
this year is a good time to play warframe my dude
to give you a bit of info there are in total 40 different equip able warframes which each have their own abilities and strong suits as well as different stats and then in terms of what we call "Prime" warframes there are a total of 25 but in reality only 24 are obtainable because one is exclusive to people who played in closed beta and purchased it from a founders pack. prime warframes are upgraded better versions. that while they have the same abilities as their normal counter parts they have better stats and better mod able features. there is also another third type of warframes that is currently the only one of its kind but they said that they might make more in the future. i will not reveal that warframe type's name as it has spoilers related to a quest.
Yeah it is FREE TO PLAY! You can start the story, as long as you follow the quests, and go through each planet.
GO and try to play it NOWWWWW
You can actually get dogs in this game. And cats, and dogs with herpes.
Edit: and drones, and robotic emu's with top hats.
Best of all, it's free.
fun fact the 3 frames you just saw are made from cloned corpses here are all the types of frames
prime frames=the original frames which are made using dead bodies and the infestation/zombie cancer
normal frames=clones of the prime frames
umbra frames(named after Umbra Dax)=the result of someone going through the transformation while still alive
"Wake the Fuck up Tenno, We've got a Solar System to Save!" 😎
The things he is throwing are Kunai, which is basically a throwing knife. The Shuriken is more of a star of knives. Love your reactions man, also this game is more than worth the time, and the content is set up in a way where you can do whatever you want and not be left behind.
I started Warframe 4 years late but it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. You should give it a try.
As a note i don't know if you've played destiny but its not all classes, thats 3 out of around a 40 frames not including prime versions which are better and upgraded versions of basic frames.
This is a realy, realy good game.
The middle one is called Mag and I don't think she currently has the ability to stop bullets and send them back, they mentioned wanting to add that ability during Tennocon.
5:00 those are only just the 3 starters you pick one from. They released the 40th warframe a few weeks ago and the number keeps rising! (40 not including the Prime variants)
Edit: is you will try it on the Xbox I don't mind helping you at the start
You forgot poor excal umbra XD it's 41 counting him
Yes. You do get a alien dog friend. And yes, you can pet it.
IMO, You should started following warframe first and wait till they finished their rework on its new game experiences. They are currently working to make the game better for new players. Hence the new opening cinematic after all this time.
Absolutely worth playing!
I have thousands of hours into watframe and I still havent been able to complete everything in the game yet, it just is always expanding. Good game.
DO IT!! As the slogan says, ninjas play free
it isnt exactly easy to get into as its rather indepth but once you do youll find a hard time putting it down, also the three starter frames excalibur, mag, and volt are 3 of the *40* frames in the game; this cinematic is going to be the new opening for first time players in a future reworked newplayer experience
"I want one movie/game with no hope"
Have you heard of warhammer 40k?
Play Warframe.
Record reaction on "Natah", "The Second Dream", "The War Within", and "The Sacrifice" quest. Highly do not look at spoilers or lore videos.
???.
Profit.
the lore is fantastic... you might play
My man Volt (the third guy) got done dirty he had like 2 seconds 💀
Much grind and fun 10/10 would recommend to play
Best free game out there. You should also check out their Tennocon where they show how year after year why they are the most talented devs out there.
Those are just the 3 starter frames, there are about *40* total warframes currently in the game with 2 more confirmed on the way, not even including the primed or enhanced versions of certain frames you can obtain.
That Ability Where Mag Stopped The Bullets Then Fired Them Back Isn't Currently How It Works But They Plan To Change It To That/ Add An Augment
+SerSleepyWolf That sucks. Love the look of that ability.
You can get in anytime, but maybe wait a bit since there has been plans to improve the new player experience and tutorial.

Just remember everyone had to go through it at one point in time
If you're still hesitating to play the game, you could wait until they reworked the starting mission based on this trailer
I have been playing it for 3 years now, I have 3k hours in game. So yes I love to play it.
It's an action based looter shooter basically. If you're into looting, you're gonna stick with it for a long ass time
Try reacting to their Tennolive, its awesome. Ohh, and there's like 40 classes(not including primes)
This game is good at giving ya things at a good paced, youll feel slower or halted sometimes because of prerequisites
Funny enough this trailer is for the new player experience that they're reworking. I would wait till that's life to give it a shot.
Oh trust me bud this game is fun takes a bit to get to end game ,but not too long, plus theres way more than these 3, though all of them are pretty op. Also yes they have their own convention.
I still remember the first four main frame.
yeah, most people dont actually know how massive warframe actually is.
Well, Warframe has always been a game of "oh shit what is going on what is this" since it first came out. That's never changed. But you can also just jump right in and not worry about specifics while you get used to the gameplay.
That opening cinematic is still in development, they still have to actually make the gameplay part I think
And the dog companion is called a Kubarow
You can do everything shown on this trailer. Everything.
You can't catch bullets and throw them back at your attackers.
You also can't oneshot Bolkor's with a bow.
@@run4walk Mag's gonna get the bullet catching as a future augment mod.
@@aetherdraw In the future... I.e you can't catch bullets with Mag.
This trailer makes The Avengers movies look like a cartoon
Yes it is a game to get into now
Believe me when I say it is not it's not difficult is not impossible it's an absolute amazing game and you can play it the way you want no I'm not promoting it I'm just speaking from my own experience I've been playing the game since it release and I couldn't be more pleased
5:00 They’re showing all the classes... 😂
YES PLZ PLAY so much content and actuall story serious recommendation
I believe at the start Excalibur is throwing Kunai rather than Shuriken :)
you can get into warframe whenever you want and community will help you any way.
"He has the uh...ninja stars...what are the called shurikens?""
Me: It's a kunai. This man does not watch Naruto.
+Matt Ostovitz Damn right I don't
The game can be confusing at first but im just here to say when u play warframe you can get new warframes by buying the blueprints and grinding for its parts cuz sometimes new players see the platinum price on warframes in the market makes them think its pay to win... Well no that specific warframe can be farmed ingame... Anyways msg me if you need anymore info
