The United States Declaration of Independence was actually inspired and influenced by the widespread publication and circulation of pamphlets of "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine! Before the widespread circulation of "Common Sense", there were no Revolutionary patriots who openly advocated American Independence from British Empire! I just don't know why Thomas Paine is not considered as one of the Founders of the United States!

When I was a junior in high school I did a biography of all fifty six signers as a project for my history class. I will always remember that this project unfurled a whole new interest in history as well as a deep respect for these men.
It is Americans like you that make me proud not to be part of a “56” but to respect those who respect the 56. You are just as much if not more than one as I. I still do not understand why people so close to the 56 don’t always V O T E or even know they are related. “ One NATION UNDER GOD”

Some people feel tears are a sign of weakness. Though my signatory ancestor was not mentioned verbally, to see his name actually signed so humbly small brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. I hope somehow he still knows his lineage still lives on to this day flowing proudly through my veins. Please, next time you see a tattoo “56” no matter how small I guarantee you , no matter how small it may be , it is most likely NOT someone’s ex boyfriend’s high school foot ball number.

Imagine how many of congress today (by today I mean 1866-2023) would dare do the same and sign such a dangerous document with the promise of either freedom or doom. I would guess the number would remain near 56.

If you share it more will know,, and if you are a teacher and show it to your class far more will know, and if you are a radio personality or influencer, and you share it, far, far more will know. It's up to us share it with our fellow Americans. We are why Americans know or don't know this information, the buck stops with us.

I pledge to watch this every 4th of July. I will make sure my children know of the sacrifice of what it took to gain freedom, since they won't be taught that in schools.

Albert Pike, cousin: (freemason, and recruiter for the Cherokees during the Civil War).
Hopley Yeaton, 6th great grandfather and first Coast Guard officer.
Miles Standish.
Maj. Judge Robert Pike, only judge who wrote a dissertation in the defense of the accused during the Salem Witch Trials.
