- Huge progress made today! The metal roofing panels are installed, and we rack up all 3,000 watts of solar power on the new @IronRidgeSolar mounting system. Finally the milk room in the goat barn container is nice and cool with no worries of running out of power.
This is the last update before we release the full build showing all the final details so keep an eye out for that soon - and thank you so much for all your support during this amazing project.

What is great is a young person wanting to have a job in the agricultural sector.. you all literally just seeded the base of a small business for a young lady...great stuff !!
Who would have thought that just a few years ago your family would become the gold standard for off grid homesteading. Remarkable learning curve in such a short time.
So excited to hear Jonathan say something about another container and a gabled roof.
So happy to see the Legendary Goat Barn coming to the finish. Great looking roof too.
Whoever takes the videos is really good ! ⭐️
Hello from South-Africa. I am taking off my hat to you guys. You will reap the fruit from your hard labour. Have you considered installing a scratch brush on a post for your goat babies? I think they will love it to bits.. 😊
Howdy to all the Homies and Shiny People out there. another amazing job and video. I was Verklempt when i saw the end of the video. Seeing the Legend Dairy G.O.A.T Barn Wall of Fame going up was very special. There is a lot of love on that wall and I appreciate being a small part of it. The tease at the end with Ashley washing and painting the top of the container was like getting to the end of a good book.(i didnt want it to end) Jonathan mentioning that there are probable plans of another container in the future was like hearing there will be a sequel. MUCH LOVE.
You won't regret choosing star jasmine! I've grown 1 in a 12 gal. pot for 25 years and counting.
An easy care plant with real flower power! Hardest part for me is dragging Jassy's container in and out for the season change.
The spent flowers make wonderful tea!
I'll have to remember about Jasmine Flower tea! I just took mine outside and plan on giving it a better pot and renewing the soil.
Don't know where you are but I have Jasmine growing outside for many years now but I'm on the south coast of England. ❤
How awesome! Saw that the Pink Panther's nose got booped! LMAO It is all looking so good!
3:38 Love that. Star jasmine is my favorite scent in the world.
Congratulations!!!! What a beautiful place for the goats. Not to mention a great place for Adali to raise the goats.
I use a panel of Pig fencing for my grape vines to climb up. I angle it from the base of the plant to the wall so it is not directly on the hot fence.
Great job everyone. Especially Jonathan. And I looked to see if my name was on the wall plack. The wall plack is beautiful. Good job Ashley for your paint job at the end too. 💖
I love the little garden! Having the cactus in front of the exit water pipe and the climbers to go up and around the window is awesome!! And once the vines grow in they will provide shaded cooling for that wall!!! ❤
What a beautiful thing to watch.
So many huge projects completed over the years. It's still amazes me how far y'all have come. So much blood, sweat, and tears poured into this wonderful dream...dreams can come true.
Love y'all ❣️
15:09 Not just some kids - the Doods were helping too. 😁👍
Just love how you both, teach your children. It's generational empowerment ❤ so love your videos and views are still spectacular 😂
Those are some happy, pampered goats. I am impressed with how fast the solar panels were installed. A job well done!
Just awesome that you are nearly done with the barn. It looks great!
Oh my gosh, what a vibrant blue sky that day! Such a beautiful backdrop for your homestead.
Wonderful, wonderful. I am sooooo impressed and how lucky is that young lady. Great parents ...with a little help from the community. That's the way to go!!
On the edge of that container that's a square tubing at the top edge between that little lip and that twerk comes off to your aluminum roof panels. It is a square tubing. You can actually screw down into it and screw that metal down to it. Put your views tape on there and then put your medal on top of that and then run a screw into that deal. And then caulk it. It it, you won't leak through that tubing
Отличный контент, много упорного труда, красивая семья - очень приятно вас смотреть. Спасибо за то что делитесь с нами своим жизненным опытом! Ваш труд мотивирует и меня обновлять свой быт.
8:40 - that blue sky!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Congratulations guys! Your projects are great to watch from start to end. ❤
The LegenDairy Goat Barn has turned out beautifully! So impressive!
Is that going to be the name of the goats business? It's perfect! 🐐🐐🐐
And to think that I get excited when the dishes get done and the floor mopped. Your children are learning so much by the modeling that you provide. Keep on keepin' on. d
If you don't hit screws on both sides, I'll tell you what to do. Screw a couple pieces of block to the rafter on on one side. If you have to on both sides and then center it and then screw it down into the 2 blocks. I will do that before you start putting your you're hangers-on it. And screw down to the roof because if you know where you want Em. Position link wise. You could put those things down blocks on the side of their screw into both blocks and it'll be more than sturdy that way
I started watching yall, and I'm impressed. I live in southern New Mexico, so yeah I understand the heat and wind. Love the family that helps, and the knowledge you all have. I guess we all learn our trades. Great video!
Awesome set up. Happy, kittens, goats, kids and family. 🇳🇿
Your talents (and your whole family's) makes everything look so easy. It's always fun watching your projects. Thanks!
He really is a great teacher. He explains very well.
That was super funny I love the ending take care and stay safe tell your wife hi.
Looks like quite an extensive solar project, congratulations on lots of power❗ The Goat Barn looks great and all the family was involved~! Very Cool‼
I think it is excellent to use what space you have wisely and incorporating more solar power! I wish you all the best!
Your goat parlor should be called GOAT PALACE.All is fun for the hard work put in this parlor
Keep all the projects going.
You guys are just awesome. That is all
Finest goat barn setup west of the Mississippi!! Great job guys!
As always, I'm blown away at what youve done. And i did notice at the very end that you got the container roof painted with Snow Coat!!! I put that on my mobile home roof. I confess i held my breath while y'all were putting the roof panels up there. My husband and stepson did a porch roof out of the same kind of metal panels and the son wasnt wearing gloves and pushed the edge of one of those panels under his thumb nail up to the first joint😮 Glad tou all got through it safely and wiw, what a beautiful job!!!❤
Ouch 😣!
Love all of the new solar.
Awesome job, TSH family! What a great team! ❤
Congrats on the solar! And so many other wonderful things, too. Love the cactus blooming beside the raised bed. Hammerpaw's babies are getting so big, and are so cute!
Yay for solar! Also yay for the plaque!! 😊❤
Nice touch! Vining plants
Awesome progress. Love how your whole family works together.
Just a wonderful, well thought out plan and implementation. Congrats to you all for your hard work!

Good Morning. How are you guys doing today? Like everything is coming together. Keep up the good work Have a good day you guys
I want goat cheese & ice cream! 😋 Can hardly wait❣️
Great. Y’all amaze me. Learning, building and doing it as a family.
Great job. The goat barn looks good.
Amazing job as always
Yay, solar panels! The metal roofing looks awesome. I like the plants you planted Ashley! That solar panel track mounting system is cool! So it's an Iron Ridge solar panel mounting system. Yay, circuit breakers switched back on and double the wattage! Thanks for the update of putting on the ridge cap rain guard from the container roof to the awning roof and that you were going to paint the container roof with white elastomeric paint. I am looking forward to the full build video! I love the names of the people up on the wall inside and the plate on top about the "Legend Dairy Goat Barn Build Supporters." Thanks for this wonderful video Longnecker family! The kittens are so cute and it's great that their mom is using the goat barn too!
I’m going to make an odd statement…the reason is: my eye doctor checks the tops of my ear flaps for cancer …reason being I’m living in a dessert belt in Canada….was out in sun lots……it’s a very common thing for people exposed for long periods here to get cancer on ear lobs…
Also, wear sunglasses all the time - protects your eyesight and those nasty crows feet and squint lines!
I worry about the blonde family working outside in Arizona everyday.
Plants make pigments to protect themselves from sun. People who eat lots of those plants get some protection from those pigments, not just skin!
Amazing works. Adeli dream is a great and beautiful dream. Cheers Legend Dary.
Love this, it's so important for the future that more people start to recognise the damage that is being done by modern industrial practices. Like you guys cost was a huge factor for us, but we had the opportunity to get a very old house for a lot less, the building is at least 300 years old and is a traditional stone building. Unfortunately around 40 years ago it was upgraded with modern materials so we are now stripping those back and putting back the lime pointing, render and paint that helps these buildings breathe and last. Have you looked into using lime on your buildings?
Well done guys, oh my gosh... what a great project! Cheers for sharing...
Great neat system for running those panels 🎉 good job! 😊
The solar is like a 3erd roof
Excellent job, guys!!!😊🎉❤
So happy for you❤❤❤❤❤looks great.

YAY New Vid! Hope yall are well, Thanks for vid made my Sat morning!
So many channels rely on drama or fake drama. It is a pleasure to watch your family interact and grow the drama. If it’s there is always just daily living drama. Thank you for great videos. Looking forward to this project being done and y’all moving onto the next.
Great job guys. Really enjoying your journey.
Woiwits loking good you guys❤
Good video.
Very impressive 👏 🎉
ADLIE IS LIKE THE GREAT POET JOHN ANDERSON SAYS SHE PRETTY AS THE ANGELS WHEN THEY SING
You guys are amazing!
Looks amazing!
This is so cool! 🎉
Well done🎉🎉
Your videos are great, your lifestyle even greater! But where are the t shirts that say “everything is fine”. I want one. ❤
Lots of great work. Would like to visit your area of the country one day. What native shade trees have you added?
9:19 looks like you got some sawtooth going on there when I install metal roofing I make sure the bottom runs straight if it's out on the side the corner will cover that up just saying!
wonderful.
Next time look for Bi-Ficial (both top and bottom.. that can be mounted painted white on tin roof so both sides of the solar will continue to produce electriity).. dual glassed N-Type (N-Type produces 24.57ah per day.. then the other monocrystaline solar panels that produce about 22.32ah per day.. the other effecient reasons is.. they are high grade.. say 850w max on 1solar panel... they are also IPS68 that is water/hail and snow proof... N-type can also produce electricity at night or low light.. meaning they work effectiently on cloudy days or at night.. (that why some times they are known as moonlight panels) i recently changed my 14 100w monocrystaline to 2 530w N-type solar panels.. take up less space and more to add while using the same 1.5kw hybrid inverter.. (grid-tied and offgrid in 1)
INCREDIBLE ❤
Awesome work family.
Could you attach boards to the rafters for the screws to secure to on the other side of the bracket? hope that makes sense.... Love watching ya'll
If there wasn't already OSB decking then yeah that's what we'd do.
Great job!! Looks amazing! ❤
Can I move into the goat barn? I'll be good! lol That is one nice build. Stay hydrated and as cool as you can, but you are already Cool tho!
