at one point I learned dvorak before switching to charachorder 1, I can say without a doubt learning CC1 is much easier than learning to touch type on a regular keyboard.
@@AlamKhan-yt9wd What do you mean does that make any difference ? Are you asking if the charachorders layout will change if you switch the layout to dvorak ? Of course it does, and normal typing should be just the same. But I think chording might be insanely more difficult because of how chords are made. The layout is chosen intentionally so chords where you have to move multiple fingers on the same hand into different directions are fewer. With Dvorak you might need to train your finger mobility a lot more.
Im not understanding why that is a 3 dimensional switch, wouldn’t It be 2 dimensional? You’re only able to type on an X,Y plane, you don’t press down on the key for an additional character correct?
Up and down is the first dimension of input. The second dimension is... no wait, there's no second dimension. Normal buttons work on a single axis. The CC1 works on three. This had nothing to do with the physicality of the products, obviously they both exist as 3D objects. No idea where 2D is coming from.
You seriously don't get this simple concept huh, lmao. When you press a key on your keyboard, it can only move up and down, so just imagine that it is moving along the Y axis....that's ONE dimension. Your mouse moves in any direction, but essentially those directions all move along a PLANE, so just imagine the surface your mouse moves on, it is a flat planar surface, so this would be a 2 dimensional input, which is why mouse motions map onto the flat 2 dimensional space of your computer monitor where the mouse cursors position can always be specified by a pair of x,y coordinates.

I wonder if you can use Dvorak on the Charachorder Lite
@@cravarcwhy wouldnt you ?
But does that make any difference? @@lennysuessmuth9512

How long does it take an intelligent keyboard to break down?

Up and down. 1
Forwards and backwards 2
Left and right. 3.
you can also press it, so... three-dimensional
Every time I see your videos I am reminded about how I missed the kickstarter 😢
How does it handle multiple words with the same chars?
Like pots, stop, and post?
How does it handle with words longer than 10 letters?
What about words that share the same letters?
Best investment I've ever made. This thing is the real deal.
Thank you so much for your support! :) I'm so glad that you are enjoying your CharaChorder
I have been using dvorak since 2008 and am about to give this a try!
Just ordered the one and i´m looking forward to learn and to use it without the metal bar so i can sit however the f i want :-)
Thank you so much for your support!
Love to get one but does it work with other languages? Does it know how a chorded Dutch word is supposed to be ordered when connected to a dutch pc?
Yes, it works with other languages. For Dutch you will need to create your own dictionary or find someone who already has
@@crash_oftenThank you very much for the information 😁👍
is it possible swap the qwerty keyboard layout on the lite with Dvorak?
yes
No, not a chance I’m beating QWERTY speed in one month.
Wow. No.
can you play games with it?
of course, yes
One dimensional? You mad or something dude? It's two dimensional keys. Lmao.
