When we say that our current role / previous role was not aligning to career goals or role specific reasons, though they might be valid, won't those reasons create a negative impact on the HR that we might leave this company too when we feel a misfit at some point? Do we create an image of an unstable candidate? Kindly assist. I had some hiccups when in one of my recent interviews the Hiring manager asked this question. I was asked why did I not try for an internal switch. What can I answer then, can I say I tried for internal switch, but the available roles were still not aligning with my goals?

Sorry but the reasons you are sharing will obviously back fire as it shows that your current organization is not a great place to work and lacks opportunities which is actually not the case with large organizations.
