    Can we give a reference of an ex-coworker at our current company specifying that they got that particular amount of hike on moving on to the new company with an exactly similar work experience???

    If one has got an offer from company A which has been accepted and later company B offers better package. How appropriate it would be go back to company A and ask them to match the package, considering company A is more desirable? What could be the worst case scenario?

      Hello Abhinav, it is a common practice these days. While I personally do not suggest a lot of flip flop but once you know your real market worth then you may go for it and then stop.

    Sir my salary hike is less than 50% in last 6 years. I work in Infosys and joined as fresher. I like to work in this company but my salary is not growing even after good performance. What do you suggest me? Should I leave the work I enjoy doing and join in other MNC?

    • @sank2891
      @sank2891 2 года назад +1

      Mam,My brother was also a employee of Infy he also joined as a fresher despite all the effort and hard work he was not getting appreciation for his efforts & work.I know infy is like a government job from his words in private sector.until you come out of your comfort zone & take risk jump ship you can’t get appreciation & hikes for your efforts my brother also recently jumped ship he got 110% hike in new company.

      Hello Shraddha, In my view if you feel that you are not at par with the market then it is a good time to look for a change in 5 years. However, for some people money is not the priority. Flexibility, comfort, type of work etc are more important than money, which is fine as well. So based on your personal priorities you can make a choice.

    Can we resign the company after working for 3 months..Will it affect my career.I don't like the work environment in my current company.Please advise how to tackle if they ask this during the interview.

    • @CareerTalk
      @CareerTalk  2 года назад +3

      Hi Arvind, You may resign. They will ask you to serve the notice period though. How to tackle it? Best way is to say that the role you were promised was very different than what you are being asked to do.
