It’s so sad to see how many died of overdoses, heart attacks or suicides. It’s good to see now that our pg era favorites aren’t meeting the same fate
Videos like this always a sad reminder how rampant opioid use was among wrestlers
Of all the people mentioned that died of overdoses, it seems like Mr Perfect's wasn't accidental. All tragic, but that sounded odd.
Definitely. A sad reminder that Vince has a lot of blood on his hands, supporting, allowing or partaking in such wide steroid use. He allowed these men to destroy themselves, all to make a quick buck off them.
@@SaintPhoenixx I mean he took them himself at least he didn’t make them do something he wasn’t willing to do
give em time
Big pop on that "young clean shaven Drew looks like Nick Jackson sitting on Matt's shoulders" reference! So true
I have to admit: the death of Scott Hall hit me harder than I would have expected, but still to this day the death of Owen Hart hurts the most, because it was so unnecessary
I remember watching the ppv live where Owen Hart died the screen went completely black my dad thought it was a cable problem but when he called them they said sir it's not us then it came back on and then jr said Owen Hart died
I surely cannot be the only one who feels the "Honk-a-Meter" run of Santino was both hilarious and ended way, way to soon. That in itself was the perfect vehicle to work for a whole year (at least), with the last 1-2mths having Honky himself throw challengers at Santino to stop the record being broken. You could even have Marella keep the belt through count-out / DQ losses, using HTM's tactics against him.
I agree. While I wasn't sold on Santino when he first won the belt, he and his Honk-a-metet grew on me and I was disappointed to see it in.
Negl thought I was alone with this opinion
It definitely had more legs and was really fun.
Breaking down in laughter at the end of Punk's portion made me laugh, too
This was awesome! Kind of terrifying that so many of these guys were lost to overdoses or heart attacks.
A great video, though the first half was rough going due to how many title holders have passed away (and how many of THEM were so young).
What got me was when a whole section was back to back of wrestlers who are now gone.
23:18 that little laugh as he mentions CM Punk's 'recent history'
Now he's back 😂😂
Rest In Peace To All The Interdimensional Champions that are no longer with us but I'm very sure never forgotten
Jericho, Miz, Dean and the hennigs made that title special. Back in the 90s if someone won the intercontinental title they would eventually win the heavyweight belt.
Seth as well
my uncle who recently passed away and was a fan of wrestling once said of the honky tonk man he is living proof those titles are bought and sold always loved that statement.
Absolute savage to not say anything about the Punk fight/suspension fiasco and just kind of chuckle at the end of his section
Cultaholic keep on providing bangers after bangers!
After banger after banger…..
After banger after banger
After..... banger
Cultaholic: The Sheamus of wrestling RUclips.
After Banger! After banger! After banger!
I have not finished the video yet but I am at 18:32 and have to point out that I love how the description of Christian's current character in AEW makes it seem like he is just playing as Test (may he rest in peace). Just thought that was hilarious haha
Yes alot of them have passed away. BUT on the other hand a lot of them were on my television screen just yesterday!
Aw man, I was really looking forward to the Randal Keith song lol
Heartbreaking how many of these greats were taken way before their time 😢
20:06 I miss the Randall Keith song!
24:14 Drew Mcintyre : it's Nick Jackson on Matt shoulders 🤣🤣🤣
Santino Marella still should have had a longer 2nd Intercontintal Title reign. That Honk-A-Meter was fantastic.
JBL completed the original grand slam with the IC BELT. He won the European Title in late 2001.
Jericho did it first.
It's nuts that I thought some of these guys were old when they died and now I have surpassed them in years
Can you please make a video about "What happened to every wrestler from the full version of the 'What Happened To That Wrestler?' theme tune"?
They already had
Ricky and Randy at Mania for the strap remains one of my favorite matches ever. Their performance was just so damn good and an absolute clinic on how to craft a match.
Shawn and Razor at Mania for the strap is another of my favorites. To this day, it remains the blueprint for a good ladder match.
Can you do a list of forgettable 1× champions
Example: Rhyno as Intercontinental Champion
Go back and watch Roddy win the belt again, the man had the most genuine smile on his face, just loving wrestling. What a fuckin legend man
Could yall rank every NWA Champion?
I'd love to see that list but that title had such a low point that (aside from length of reigns) there'd be almost no source material for some periods. That'd be a lot of work but I hope I get to see it!!!
No gonna lie I was expecting the randal kieth gag when Orton came on I'm disappointed haha 😂
You should rank every cruiserweight/light heavyweight champion in WWE and WCW history
Literally put every Intercontinental Champion into this intro song at the beginning of the video and it would be amazing
Still one of my favorite belts and consistently well represented and designed (dont care for the current eras belt tho i love Gunther!)
That Levesque guy did pretty well for himself....😂
Also love how WWE is presenting GUNTHER as a star, thereby also elevating the IC title. Almost reminds me of Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine in his presentation: he looks like a champion.
This theme tune slaps more than Gunther
Funny this is uploaded while I was looking up IC title history lol
This has aged well. over a year later, and the last entry about Gunther is still 100% accurate.
Given that this is a list of wrestlers from the last 40-odd years I knew there would be a fair few deceased in there, but damn that was depressing
I live a town over from Roxbury and genuinely had no clue Tito Santana is a teacher there

Marc Mero was just at my old high school a couple weeks ago. My sister got to listen to one of his talks.
he looks good for being in his early 60s
Video idea - ranking every individual IC Championship reign
I’d love to see the white strap title back
I'm probably the only one, but I'd quite like to see it with a sky blue or purple strap like the world title when Warrior/Slaughter had it.
Take a drink every time Adam says “Sadly”
The wrestlers involved probably would have wanted that, tbh
Who doesn't watch this and sing along with the intro. absolute banger
About Morisson& his name change,,😂😂🙌 Funniest thing I've heard all week!!!💀
Ironic how the Unamerican stable was ranked after each other lol
Booker T back on commentary is news to me. I have to tune in!
Video idea - ranking the worst to best triple crown champions.
Nooooo. You started that song in the beginning and I'm like okay, just a throwaway, gonna rhyme a few and move on. Then you paused, then kept going and I got so excited. Please release a full version 😭
Love those videos, love the dancing cutouts. But when we see the face behind those lyrics, we see a very good example of a "Backpfeifengesicht".
When are you guys going to do a 'where are they now?' video for everyone in the what happened to that wrestler song? The world is ready
(Sheamus sheds single tear)
14:29 The Eighth Wonder of the World Andre the Giant, The Immortal Hulk Hogan, The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase and multiple-time 24/7 champion R-Truth never held the intercontinental title in their respective illustrious careers. They should have been given a run with this title to complete their triple Crown titles. R-Truth was world heavyweight champion in TNA and Dibiase was WWE champion after buying the title from Andre and holding it for about a month until WM4 where the title was held up in a tournament.
holy crap! Never expected to see myself in a Cultaholic video! Thanks, Lutte Academie!
Way too many sadly ...... passed away here
I am disappointed he didn’t mention Billy Gunn is playing paper beating desk objects
Razor Ramon was actually a (first ever) 5 time IC Champ, won at a house show but lost it and never was recognized.
You couldn't hold in the chuckle when talking about Punk's time in AEW
Adam can really play the piano.
10:12 nice daisy dukes
I live in Calgary, Bret makes appearances in town for dungeon wrestling a promotion started by his son Dallas
Can you do one for the US title too?
they did awhile back
The giggle when mentioning Punks 2 title 'runs' in 2022... 😂
Still the best opening on the Channel 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What Happened To That Wrestler 🤼♀️ 😂😂😂😂 that’s my jam right there 🎶 🎵 🎼
Alternate title:
Sadly/tragically
Do all the belts!!!this is great!
Update September 1,2023, Gunther’s reign is at 447 days and about 8 from surpassing Honky Tonk Man’s recordas longest single reign as Intercontinental champion
Allright, loved the parody of Billy Joel
QUESTION : Why was it relevant to state That Jeff Hardy was contracted to AEW but was currently suspended, but not to state the same on the entry about CM Punk? surely if relevant for one it is equally relevant for the other
The laugh at the end of Punk's entry was surely more savage than anything said about Jeff
I wonder if Adam still has that keyboard neck tie from the intro.
Im surety not the only one who songa along with Pacitti during the intro to these lists? 🤣
Where my song Randell Keith
WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT WREST-LAH??!!!!?!
God, the Attitude Era was poison to the IC title...
Billy gunn looks incredible
I've watched too many Mark Remarks. Now every time I hear the name "Curtis Axel", I immediately go "Eheehheehehe"
That intro is lit
thought it was a bit sad having rude then perfect both dead of overdoses then I realised God damnit kerry Vaughan erichs next
The Hollywood hunks older brother won the Intercontinental Championship a couple times wow
"Uninvited"!? Sami Zayn is the Honorary Uce in case you forgot!
ill comment on every what happened to video: Best Intro on youtube.
patterson is a mix feeling since many have come out with stories.
rest in peace to all that are not with us.
A wild Slapnuts appeared.
Some of the BEST wrestlers!!!! 💪
Steamboat is also working with NWA, pay attention
Time to watch this 10 times 😆
Wait RVD does standup? I have to see this!
Why did you show 3 Diesels and one Shawn Michaels in the same graphic?
Wasn't a stepping stone until the mid 90s.
I'm wondering when they're gonna pull the trigger and have the miz match and eventually beat jericho's number
Come for the intro (because everybody comes for the intro, let's be honest)
Stay for....well, isn't it obvious? They're highlighting literally every IC Champion in history. Why wouldn't you want to watch that?
I do think that there are less people alive on this list which is super super sad
there seems to be some sort of curse on the wwe ic title as many of the wrestlers that have held it died young
you can take Jack Swagger off your intro since he is back in the wrestling picture as Jake Hager in AEW
Chyna's title win was as dumb as it gets. Not because she was a woman but rather she didn't win by the rules of the match. If you remember, at one point in the match, Jarrett hit Chyna with his guitar then pinned her but the title win was waved off because the guitar wasn't a "household item". The match is restarted and Chyna eventually gets the win when she hits Jarrett with that one item every household undoubtedly has, the IC title belt. As for HTM winning the title, the funny thing is, the title was supposed to go to Butch Reed but he missed his flight or something like that.
The rock is the first person to win the ic title in their debut
The IC belt isn't the greatest secondary belt ever, that's easily the US title.
Greg Valentine has a face like a baseball mitt. Sorry. Just has to put that out there. Lol
Simply put great content...uncomfortable viewing In the early portion but great content
