Holy shit. This is finally done. This is a song I started back in mid-August when I was on a vacation up in Maine. Though there are still many parts of this that I feel could be improved, it's been 10 months now and I think it was about time to finish it up. So here it is, the best Electro song I think I've ever made! Also, THIS IS THE LAST PONY RELATED SONG I WILL EVER RELEASE. EVERYTHING COMING OUT FROM NOW ON WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY LITTLE PONY!

Well, I guess it can be interpreted that way. But the Icarus part of the title is about the metaphorical aspect of the Icarus and Daedalus myth, not literally flying into the sun; it was meant to allude to the ambitious nature of the mission. The mission itself is more of a risky interstellar gig. The story of the song is that the speaker is about to be among the first of his kind to explore outer space and the mental challenges and self-doubt that the speaker has to go through.
