“Many hands make light work” 😊 my grandmother use to say that when she made us pull weeds from her garden. I miss her so much. Thank you for making these informative videos.
Wow, Jenny, you have a pretty efficient assembly line going there! Christine's editing is fantastic (I loved the quarter moon edit, that was funny), Jackson is quite the character! ~Margie
Great video! I am sure I am not the only one that would like to be in your shoes, "playing in the dirt" as I like to put it! Hard work, but seeing plants grow is very rewarding. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so happy you showed your viewers what is involved in putting together hanging baskets! I have heard people at nurseries gasp when they look at the price of a basket and pass it by as too expensive. And then of course I’ve seen others pick up as many as they want when obviously money is no object to them. There is a lot of work with these baskets, other than the cost of the plants, the baskets, and the labor it is plain to see the prices are MORE than reasonable! Because we all have come to love you Jenny, it is a joy to see your girls kicking in with their personalities too!! I learn something with each video, or I just have the chance to hang out with you on your porch with a coffee! Cant wait to see what’s next! 😃
Those are hefty baskets! If I lived close, I'd come help for free. Since I've gotten old, my hands & feet hurt SO bad in the cold. I nice greenhouse would be just the place to play with plants all day. Props to the editor for obscuring the Jackson crack 😆
Something that the nursery I work at does is we have this piece of wood with little cabinet handles on either side that is slightly bigger than a 10x20 and they drilled holes in it and glued small wooden dowels inside the holes. Before putting them in they sanded the ends slightly thinner so they find the hole easier on the bottom of the plugs. It's super handy. I bet hubby there can get that fixed up real quick. (Just as a 100 other things I'm sure)
Y'all! You just made my day! How funny are you guys?! 😂 loved the energy here! Between this happy go lucky vid and Mr. Jim's last one (Horttube), I am sooo ready for spring!! Thanks for starting my day off right!
I use to work part time at a nursery many years, ago. Enjoyed it.. I always look forward getting up and watching the sun come up.. So peaceful and rewarding. Hard work. Now, I garden for a living. Thanks for sharing.
I have always wanted to work at a nursery. I'm too old now for ladder work though. Always wondered about the process putting them together. Lots of helping hands seem like the main component! I cannot wait for growing season- I may only be watching virtually this year beginning radiation in a few short weeks.
Jenny, I swear watching your video is a hi light of our day! Either while having breakfast or supper 🥰. Talk about organized! Wow! I loved seeing how the plants come in so T-Tiny and how you guys planted them up! Thanks for the info on aphids. Always a nuisance at our house. Christine 💕 it was so good to see you!
I LOVED watching this, as I stare out at my snow ahhahha. I'm a home gardener and hope to make my own baskets from seed this year. I have pansy's and wave petunias that are doing great, but I've got another couple of months before I can pot them into baskets!!!
So interesting to watch what is involved in a working greenhouse. Makes it great when you love what you do. When the flowers are filled in your greenhouse is going to be blooming gorgeous!
Jenny you’re wonderful such a pleasure to listen and watching your video your flowers are very beautiful also you’re more beautiful than the flower 🌺🤗♥️
Wow Jenny this was so amazing to see the process! Love the fun environment and the explanation along the way! Cute tshirt 💓 Definitely looking into the baskets w the coco lining this year. Do you sell those too? Love from NJ💕
Amazing! Love to see the process and all of the hardwork that goes into making those beautiful hanging baskets. Next time I purchase any hanging basket, I will remember all of the hands and love that went into planting them! Great job to you all! God bless... And, P.s... Loved the moons!🌜🌝🌙😄
Omgosh I don't know how i missed this video but the part where you're holding a tray in each arm like you're holding your precious babies had me dying, then the part of the 2 girls being silly had me lol~ I love it!
I use the shallow bowls we get with take-out in my hanging baskets. They just fit and hold just enough water that my plants can soak up some before it all drips out.
I just love watching the whole process!!! In your video series you are answering all the questions I have always wanted to know the answers to!!! How many liners did you put in the green baskets? This is so interesting and fun to watch 😀!!! Thank you Jenny and Jerry ☺️!!!
you guys are a hoot and a half, love it! i am curious about the systemic you put in the baskets for those dang aphids.. is that available retail? can't wait to see all those baskets blooming! :)
#TeamCreekside is a well oiled machine. You all may be working hard but honestly you look like you are having a great time. I wish that I was there just to serve as free labor, so I could be part of the fun ☺️. I honestly would give anything for one of those flats of baby plants. Will you be selling any of the 16 in coco lined hanging baskets (without plants) on the website? If not, do you have a good source for them for purchase? Thanks for all you do!
Hi Gardening With Creekside! I am a huge fan towards your channel you guys are hard working gardeners and I highly am proud of you guys! I'm a 14 yr old gardener and I try to inspire people to get into gardening any possible way! I have a RUclips channel called Ultimate Gardening I created a channel because many gardeners like you guys inspired me to do so! Thanks for these amazing videos!🌿✨🌱
What a great video!! Thanks so much for sharing your day and the process you all go through. Love all the names of the hanging basket recipes!! I think the Grand Traverse is my favorite color combo! You all sure do put in a lot of hard work - 💗 🌱 love digging my hands in that potting soil... can’t wait till we plant more here in SC.
I never considered placing plastic trays in the bottom of my coco coir liners. I have a combined fifty baskets, window baskets, and containers around my garden.
I was going to asked about the plastic trays also! Do they have drainage holes? If no holes, would the plastic trays also work on grow bags, or would that hold too much moisture for them?
I really enjoy these BTS videos and growing tips. Can you elaborate on signs of under-fertilization and if they can be mitigated and if by then is it too late?
What is the name of systemic additive to prevent aphids, please. I just finished a battle of the aphids in my home greenhouse. Thank you in advance. Love your videos.
I am not a gardener nor have green thumb, but this video excites me to try hanging baskets or maybe a container full of flowers this summer! It’s fun to watch u guys! BTW, Any updates on the baskets?
Hi Jenny, Although we're currently getting the second 5+ inches of snow since Sunday, your videos bring a promise of spring. Eventually. Please add a link to the 16 inch baskets
Oh wow! I don’t have a link for these baskets as we bought them from our wholesale supplier and they will be for purchase only here at the nursery. If you are looking for great baskets like these check out www.kinsmangarden.com/. I LOVE their products!
What was the combination of Dreamcicle? I could not see the combination up close. Is there a fertilizer and aphid control for hanging baskets that I could use since they are up so high? I sure would like something I could attach to my hose! How often would I have to feed and insect control? I sure love the color of the Dreamcicle!!! Great video!!
Hey!! Great seeing the process behind these gorgeous basket recipes.. i have a question though.. what is that plastic-y thing at the base of the coco liner that you're using. Isn't that going to inhibit proper draining? Thanks!
It’s a relatively shallow saucer so it’s not going to hold a massive amount of water and since it is a coco basket there is plenty of room for drainage on the sides.
I noticed the plastic liner on the bottom of the coco liner baskets. What does that help with? My baskets did not come with that last year and wondering if I need to add that when I plant this year? Thank you!! Getting great ideas from you guys!!
It is a shallow saucer that will help retain a bit of water which will be very helpful in the heat of summer. The baskets came that way, and I thought it was a pretty nifty idea! I’ve never done that to my coco baskets, but it does have me thinking 🤔
Beautiful work!! Can not wait to plant mine!! What do you guys use against amphits? Amphits destroy my garden all the time and nothing seems to work....100percent at least....😔
Truly thought the symbol for the recipe was a moon until I saw Jackson move. I'm glad my boys aren't the only ones
The moon is cracking me up! LOL
“Many hands make light work” 😊 my grandmother use to say that when she made us pull weeds from her garden. I miss her so much. Thank you for making these informative videos.
Great video, love seeing how these beauties come into being. Jackson is such a boy, love him! 🌙😂
Yes he is! 😁
I was thinking the same thing, such a boy, and his mama gently reminding him to be gentle with the plugs was so sweet.
Showing the amount of time, labor, cost, and time it takes gives me a better understanding of the value of why plants cost what they do. #laboroflove.
This was really fun to watch! I’d love to be behind the scenes at a nursery, thanks for the peek!
Well done all. Beautiful girls working with beautiful flowers.
Thank you❣️
Love that this is a family event, you have great kids. Beautiful family. 🥰
Thank you❣️
Y’all are so cute! Loved watching this 🌸
Getting snow and ice today and all week. Great to see Spring is coming no matter what....
I really never knew how all this worked in a nursery. Thank you for showing and explaining. Your rewards are coming!!!
Hard working family! Having a decorative basket is a great idea especially gifting for Valentine’s or Mother’s Day 💕
It’s a lot of hard work that’s for sure. Makes us all appreciate what you do! Thanks for taking us along. I love learning new things. 😁❤️

You all are just too cute!!!😊 I enjoyed watching as i love planting, It's one of my favorite parts of gardening.
Love how your kids help out, I can’t even get my kids outside!
They don’t have a choice 😂. For the most part they do great, but believe me we get our fair share of eye rolls & loud groans.
I really enjoyed watching the behind the scenes. Thanks for sharing. My fave was the Charmed life recipe.
That’s a great start to a beautiful spring. 😁
Loved watching your process! Can’t wait to make a trip up to visit you and bring home some of these treasures 🪴❤️

@@GardeningwithCreekside Is it Malathion or Marathon? Powder or a liquid? Great video. I love your channel.
Wonderful! I was curious what size the green plastic hanging baskets were...and was that 6 plants in each?
They are 10”, and the PW recipe baskets do have 6 while the mono baskets have 3.

I usually lay a bit of plastic in my coco baskets so they retain moisture better in the heat. Poke a hole at the bottom.
