I was wondering about this, but I just confirmed this by actually testing it: Runey days do not increase the amount of Runeys you get from crops. With a field of 192 Pink Melons I get about 16 Runeys a day, with Gaia Crystals i get about 130 a day, and on a Runey day without crystals I get about 16 a day.
Wow, I did not know that Ventus Crystals also gave you a bonus to Number+ based on your Overall soil level. That is incredibly broken, cause with a value of 1.0 most crops will increase in number every day or two with that, meaning you only have to use the crystals once to get them to +3 quickly. Where did you find that information, by the way? Heinz will still work from 9AM to 2PM on Holiday. I usually check his shop then so I don't have to wait half the day. I finally put it together when I realized it was when I needed to recoup my soil's Health by using Gaia Crystals. I've been spending a lot of time lately actually doing a lot of crop math, and I found out something interesting about Size+. During seasons that are *bad* for the crop, the value only adds 1/4 as much to the crop, meaning they take literally 4 times as long to become giant in bad seasons. Neutral seasons don't affect it, oddly enough. Number is affected at the standard season modifier, and both are independent of Growth Rate as well. For most crops, a value of 0.25 Size+ will take 8 days to become giant, so with only two Giantizer most crops will become giant after 4 or so days, which is way faster than I thought. Real talk: a time-lapse with monster's harvesting your *Rune Factory* is super fun to look at.

This is the same in RF4 so the blue runey will give you 1 INT, green runey will give you 1 STR, yellow runey will give you 3 HP and black runey will give you 1 VIT. One point on STR will add one point on ATK. One point on INT will add one point on M.ATK. VIT is a bit different from STR and INT because it splits from DEF and M.DEF. One point on VIT will give you additional 0.5 DEF or M.DEF unlike STR and INT. The game doesn't show you a decimal point but it still adds up, we don't see them. Here's an example if your character has 300DEF and 270M.DEF and you add one point on VIT, your character will continue to have 300DEF and 270M.DEF (it should have been like this 300.05DEF and 270.05M.DEF). But if you have two points on VIT you'll have 301DEF and 271M.DEF.
Another good tip for skill orbs and Runeys is that they will appear when a monster harvests the crop, but only if you are on the farm dragon during harvest time (starts at 3pm). To optimize skill orb farming you’d want a pineapple farm maxed with Ignis crystals on the ice and fire dragons that harvest on alternate days, then teleport to the farm dragon right before 3pm and let your monsters harvest as you collect those sweet skill orbs.
it does not have to be a skill you learned but If I am right It DOES have to be a skill you are CAPABLE of learning (EG NO Catching Before 1st dungeon)

A bit of a bonus hint as far as runey/orb acquisition. If you have monsters working your farm and you are in the field with them at 3pm when they start harvesting, the game will not differentiate between you and the monster so they will also uncover runeys and orbs and seeds for you. That way you dont lift a finger but reap the rewards. But it is key that you are there when the clock hits 3 or you will miss it all.
honest opinion as a person who played stardew, harvest moon rune factory and many other farm series i can easily say that rune factory makes it the least fun of farming because of the spoil level stuff makes it very high uppkeep to make things roll smootly like even story of seasons does better
Really? In RF5 you don't even have to water or harvest anymore. So what do you mean by upkeep? The soil health? From this video it sounds like all you need is 3-6 Gaia crystals to fix an entire farm.

Why can't crystals stack they take up way too much space
They stack by type, I thought.
