Saw them when they toured with Slayer & Morbid Angel when I was in high school..saw Tool & Slipknot that year as well. Late 90s & early 00s seems like a different reality vs today 😅
Love reading these comments of people who were teens in the 90s. I was born in 91 and loved the 90s, but y'all got the real tickets to a different experience. That decade had a bizarre and dark magic to it, idk how else to say it.
The 90's were a wild time, the 80's though, words can't describe it, beyond epic, both decades have arguably the best hard rock and metal bands of all time. No one can change my mind on that
I miss this Phil, fast talking, constantly joking around and having a good time. Late 90's and on he's like a completely different person. They say heroin can rewire your brain so I guess that's a major factor, that and the breakup and the shooting too. When someone welcome's you into their home/lives & prepares, offer's their very best to you (tent, carpet, whiskey) that's real luv/respect. That's priceless
Still have the Pantera movies on VHS, every single time my buddies would come over they would always wanna watch "Pantera 3 Watch it Go." And yes I still believe Dimebag was one of the best guitarist and his brother Vinnie was one of the best drummers ever.
My brother and I watched the Pantera home videos over and over and over again. The only time I got to see them live was when they were second on the bill at Ozzfest 2000. They brought the house down. half the audience left before Ozzy even hit the stage! How do you follow that!? Definitely why they didn't get invited back on the tour. If you people ever wondered what a dirtbag p*y c* looks like in comments section- look no further No-Pe-304 is a prime example!
My parents moved to Moscow in 1990 we were some of the first western foreigners there u more-on. I have plenty of proof but that’s not even the issue with s*** of your nature. I wish you could say it to my face .i.
Crazy seeing Daryl . Feels like only yesterday we heard that tragic news , but it's been 20 years almost. RIP Daryl and Vinny. Damn, you boys were special. Just incredible talent.
they left it all on the stage. amazing fucking show.
Phil’s voice before all the drugs is wild
Yup. I usually 2x his interviews to hear a normal person speaking. Crazy what drugs can do to a person. Is his whole thinking slowed down or just his speech cortex?
Daily drk uploads are one of the few reliable things in life that are actually good.
Seriously, thank you for your consistent and nicely edited video uploads.
I think I'm now a Pantera fan 🤘
Well that show gave us the best recorded version of Domination. Cool pantera video
Those 80s metal shows in Russia musta been something wild!
There was no metal shows, this was early 90’s when the Soviet Union was collapsing and those people were getting their first taste of freedom, they were in a communist society, very poor and cut off from the world.. this concert was their welcome to the real world and real life out of all that bullshit.. they estimated 1.6 million people were there, still mind blowing to see …
90s
I'm talking about those festivals that Motley Crue and Skid Row played at in the 80s... different event, same country.
Such a punch in the face, a powerhouse of talent, personality, & some of the best heavy music ever - LOVE PANTERA.
Saw them about 35 times, still go to all of Philips shows & looking forward to August seeing them again, itll be bittersweet!
Man I miss them
This concert was epic. I remember the day I got the VHS tape to watch it. 30 years ago everything changed for me musically.
What a life to live
First time I saw them was on this tour when they played Donnington. Getcha Pull. RIP the Abbott brothers. 333
Legendary performance!!
Gotta love their positive outlook on the situation. Class act!
Forever a Pantera fan.
I let my 3rd grade teacher borrow my cowboys from hell cd and she kept it for like 2 month! Said she was surprised and had thought they were like the Eagles or something. The solo to The Sleep gave me goosebumps at 8 years old and still does now at 38. Awesome band
🔥🤘🔥PANTERA🔥🤘🔥
Yeaaaaah
🤟Pan fkin Tera 🤘
seen pantera in 2001 at the louisville gardens. best metal show i’ve ever witnessed / been a part of. they played for two hrs solid
Saw them when they toured with Slayer & Morbid Angel when I was in high school..saw Tool & Slipknot that year as well. Late 90s & early 00s seems like a different reality vs today 😅
R.I.P Dimebag Darrell Abbott/ Vincent Paul Abbott 😢🕊🦅🏞🇦🇷🙏🏽🤟🏾♾️💙🥁🎸🎼
Domination in Russia DAMN that blew my mind
I Love you pantera 😋😋🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥😈😈😈😈
Love reading these comments of people who were teens in the 90s. I was born in 91 and loved the 90s, but y'all got the real tickets to a different experience. That decade had a bizarre and dark magic to it, idk how else to say it.
The 90's were a wild time, the 80's though, words can't describe it, beyond epic, both decades have arguably the best hard rock and metal bands of all time. No one can change my mind on that
Seeing this, I just realized how bad Phil has fucked himself up
I would have LOVED to see them in concert bitd
I miss this Phil, fast talking, constantly joking around and having a good time. Late 90's and on he's like a completely different person. They say heroin can rewire your brain so I guess that's a major factor, that and the breakup and the shooting too. It's a fucking shame the world can't just have an older version of this Pantera right now.
Word up yo, tragic, but we gotta enjoy what we got ...
Those amenities.....nothing but the best for our Pantera.....
Pantera must have felt like they were on Naked and Afraid after that gig with just water and half a bottle of tequila for sustenance.
Ahahaha! That's a fact!
When someone welcome's you into their home/lives & prepares, offer's their very best to you (tent, carpet, whiskey) that's real luv/respect. That's priceless
Yeah💥💥💥🤩💥
They went into Russia a pretty well known upcoming band and came out one of the best Metal bands ever.
Didn’t Phil knock out a Russian spetznaz
Still have the Pantera movies on VHS, every single time my buddies would come over they would always wanna watch "Pantera 3 Watch it Go." And yes I still believe Dimebag was one of the best guitarist and his brother Vinnie was one of the best drummers ever.
Best band ever and Greatest front man of all time!!
One of the greatest days of my life. RIP Dimebag&Vinny 🤟🤟🤟
That was a great show for Metallica too!
Yep Metallica and Pantera played a bloody awesome show.
Who?
This is Pantera. Brutal and going mental. Not slowly pacing around the stage in crocks trying to yell.
Would give anything to go back in time and attend monsters of rock , the videos of that show are amazing , the size of the crowd was crazy , speaker towers for miles.
No dimebag no Vinnie no Pantera
absolutely true!
This dvd was on repeat in the background of my teen years
Yes Yes and hell Yes
Man!! What a great time to be young.
Loved you guys
Damn I wish I could have seen them perform live. I could have I’m just kicking myself in the ass for never getting tickets to see them live.
Pantera, Biohazard, Sepultura.. So many memories, back when everything was possible.
Such a badass and memorable performance! 🤘
Jeeeezzzz what a fucking TREAT to have seen them live. ❤️
Dude, the goosebumps at the end ...
That's a blast from the past, Pantera.
The good ole days !!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Phil's sarcasm when saying "they didn't have to go out of their way and do *this"* and showing the tent. 😂
Pantera is Immortal. Their music will be played for generations to come until the end of the world or until every electronic stops working. Even then there will be some guy sitting around on an accoustic playing Walk.
