  • Hello!!!
This is my first video and it's a DIY, because sometimes we need to find unusual ways to do the work. With a soda can you can make your own cookie cutters.
    You will need:
    - A soda can
    - Scissors
    - Stapler
Simple as that... I hope you find it interesting and helpfull. And if you like it, like the video and subscribe the channel for more recipes, DIY and random stuff that will show up soon.
    Cheers!!!

I think that a disposable foil pan also can work... but maybe is necesary to bend it several times in order to have the consistency you need to cut the cookie dough :D

Thank you so much. I want to make Christmas ornaments but didn't want to have custom cutters made. I am off to hunt down all of our cans. Time and money saver!

Thank you so very much!!! I've been wanting to make a 6 pointed star that's only one inch, couldn't find one.
Because you fold the metal, there's less of a chance of getting cut. But which side goes into the dough? The cut side or the folded side? I would prefer the folded side on top so that I wouldn't get cut, but I don't know how well the doubled edge works on the dough.
    Thanks for your awesome video!!!

Thank you so much for your comment.
I use to use them with the folded side into the dough, that way you can have a nice cut, but is true that you can get cut. Maybe is a good idea to put some washi tape on the doubled edge, that way you will be protected.
Are you a youtuber too?? Do you have a channel?? :D
      Be happy

Feeding Tales Hi Feeding Tales, thank you so very much. I'm not sure what washi tape is, but i'll find out.
Yes, I just started a new you tube channel. I'm just learning how to make flowers for cake decorating. There wasn't anything online for how to make the new Wilton daisies and zinnias, so I did a video. Also, I did a video to help vegetarians in reading labels using kosher certification symbols. Hope you will visit me!
Thanks again for answering my question!

Actually no. I have done this many many times and if you are careful, trim off jagged edges, it is very safe. Just be cautious.
