i dont know why to live is to die wasnt on SM track list, is the best song from metallica to blend with an orchestra. Amzaing mate, really well done.
I imagine that it's very uncomfortable for them to play this song live at all.
Coming back to this today just reminded me how lucky we are to live in this day and age. This is definitely the most beautiful piece of music Metallica ever wrote, and combined with this orchestra, it is truly one of the most stand-out pieces of all time, and nobody can change my mind about it! Thank you for this masterpiece!

No it's not.. it's good but not as good as original specially James solo, don't know what is with that solo but it feels very sentimental with to much soul and feeling.. well that's my opinion..
My guy, this absolutely phenomenal! You are extremely talented, and your musical sense is impeccable. The whole piece is glorious, but I especially love the orchestral arrangement of the intro. It's so hauntingly beautiful. Would it be possible to upload it as a separate video? Not that i don't like listening the whole thing, I've done so maaany times by now, but listening to the intro without the main riff kicking in would be amazing.

This is what music is supposed to be! Intricate. Full and rich with depth and feeling. This song, in particular, has always intrigued me. You have somehow managed to maintain the original song with more than subtle improvements to the accents ,timing , and overall mood. This is no easy feat! Metallica them selves in my opinion , have fallen short of this with their last two engagements woth this number. Granted , this is not a difficult song to play ,but i imagine it is not easy to sync the band with a live show as much as it is in a studio without an audience and their critiques. Thank you

while this is definitely a very enjoyable arrangement of the song it is lacking that haunted truly mournful quality that the original embraces. the song is in a way a tribute to Clif Burton and to my knowledge is Metalica's last instrumental
