What a shift in generations. Am so happy that daughters are celebrated now just as much as sons are. So sad what the Grandmother had to go through, it just took a while for some(alot) cultures to see the value of women/girls. It's a touching story and I wish this family the best. There has been so many lovely families shown these last few months, but this one is my favorite. It makes me so happy to have seen a part of their life. A really great couple, with really cute kids, living together with their grandmothers. Really, really cute. It is so very clear everyone is fond of each other. I went to the Maldives *as a blonde clueless girl* for two weeks six years ago, I started having a small crush on my diver instructor while there hahaha. Maldivians are so nice, friendly, and hardworking. Those two weeks were some of the best days of my life. I still miss it. Haven't felt a real connection to anyone since then. I live in Northern Europe, and anything but summer makes me depressed here. We don't really socialize the same way. I can't surf or dive here in the same way. I can totally understand why she fell for him.

Love the sweetness, good nature of the husband/kids how they love and have reverence for the elderly grandmother that's how we all should treat our aging population.
