This is my second time to see Ecuadorians on the show. They are well mannered and thoughtful. Such nice, kind people I wish for success for this young couple, especially this sweet girl, her being in a foreign country. She has this Audrey Hepburn persona about her Luv her taekwondo-soccer stance hahaha
One of the cutest couples on this show. You can see how hard she's trying to make things work, and she's doing it so positively too. Her husband is so patient and kind with her, he shows how much he loves her by helping her with her job searching, teaching her Korean, hugging her before she goes off for the day and comforting her when she comes home. They have a best friend type of relationship and it's so lovely! He doesn't undermine her when she gets insecure, instead he patiently coaches her to overcome it and encourages her to try again. Same for the father in law. When he found out that she failed her interview, he was so encouraging and supportive.The father in law may be a bit gruff but you can see how much he appreciates her, even when he already had lunch, he still ate her bland stew and didn't complain that it was horrible. He just taught her to add some salt. She calls him "appa" so affectionately too, and even brought her shopping and called for a family portrait to be taken. He treasures her so much and I'm sure Adrianna does too. This is a beautiful family indeed.

I can tell she was very sheltered back home. Meaning she had older women looking after her. Since she can’t do like basic cleaning and ironing. I grew up with maids but I learnt it all when I had to do it a few years on my own. I was under huge financial stress so I didn’t hire extra help. Now I’m better than most I know. So I can tell she is new to this.

Reminds me of how a family member used to cook before the doctor warned him against it. I use very little miso (1/4 tsp), just like she does, because of the salt content and its ill-effects in high quantities. I honestly thought that rice cooker was a well preserved hi fi! :-D That phone call between her, her grandpa and husband should've been private and probably not broadcast.
