the scene with denali and dale putting on face masks is so funny omg i laughed so hard when his dad laughed and said you look stupid hahaha he seems like a pretty cool dad! i wish them all the best
Dale is soo cute, I can't handle it ! He does everything he can for his kids , and so does the mum , they are just adorable!
And I found it so cute how the younger son was dancing and singing to BTS
Why does this feel like a drama where the older brother is all responsible and stuff whereas the younger one is without any worries..😅😅😅
Dale has such a sunny personality that you can't help but be very happy for him, the boys and his wife. Best luck to all of them.

I didn't like the fact that the father let the younger bro do nothing compared to his older brother. age doesn't mean anything. he's not a baby. my little brother is 9 and when we clean, he comes and help us ( with what he can 😂)
anyway wish luck to the boys ~ hope they can get good results at the Olympics after so many years of training!

It's different for me. I'm the oldest and I always need to do all the chores and my little brother can chill.😅

Tbh i think denali doesnt love ice skating as much as keanu like its maybe just a feeling i get that he's not as serious about it and he's just "following" his big brother.
Such great parents , the boys are talented , but the youngest needs to keep focused and help with chores and I really like this show, I get to see Korea the markets , foods but most of all how others live , how hard it can be to be a foreigner there if you dont speak or understand the language etc. the hosts are so funny its a great show !!
I need an update about this family lol I would love to see how much they progressed

The dad and mom do his best to support the boys and the boys are doing their best to accomplish their goals, I hope the boys win a gold medal in the Olympics and make their family and country proud. It was so nice watching all their friends at their house. I can relate to the oldest brother I'm a bit of an introvert and I'm the oldest too😂

Unfortunately, they didn't even qualify for the Australian short-track team, and missed out on the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics entirely.
i really do hope that both of his sons go to Pyeongchang as the representative of Austrailia.
so I kinda stalked them online and found out that the oldest one is as old as me.. wow I feel underaccomplished

the younger son looks so much like his father lol
this was so far my favorite episode. it's so heartfelt that dale has to be frugal to keep them in Korea and train for the olympics. that's so inspirational. I'll feel sad if they have to leave Korea because of financial situations. the boys may not get the best training they need to succeed. is there something we the audience/fans can do to help them?

I love how they're so open to Korean culture. Especially Dale! Both the boys and their dad really make an effort to enjoy their life in Korea and work hard.
This episode warmed my heart so much! Best of the luck to this fam :) AMAZING show overall
dale is a really good father, he's great.. i realize that fathers always have their own way to protect and support their children, and i feel more thankful to my dad thanks to how him shows his love to the boys 😊 good job!

it must be so tiring being an international athlete. it seems like all they do is train. its amazing but i do kinda feel bad for them bcus they dont really experience normal teenage life. but its nice to see the youngest enjoying noraebang... haha hes totally an ARMY. keanu on the other hand is such an introvert. i wanted to see him enjoy something at least. but yeah.. their dad is funny and awesome!

Dale is a great positive father, it's good to have someone that positive supporting your life. But at the same time, needs to see the negative side of things like how Denali looked like skating wasn't part of his dreams. But if he has trouble, Dale could sit down and have a talk about it cus Denali looked like he really needs one. Keanu on the other hand, it's obvious why girls are crushing on him, he doesn't just have a cute face like his brother but his personality, it is seriously girls type haha

It's hard enough transitioning from high school to uni here in aus so I can't imagine how the boys, especially Keanu is feeling about it all....just starting uni here in aus this year made me realise it's just as hard as the last years of high school so I hope Keanu can make a decision that he truly feels is right for him!

his monthly budget for all of this (@26:28) comes out to an average of nearly *$4,200 (US) per month* .
that's about *$50,000 per year* ; plus, any other additional/hidden expenses not written on that spreadsheet.
in other words, the mom makes so much $$$ as a CEO, that she can afford to send off 3 family members to live in the *6th most expensive city on the planet* for as long as she wants, w/o any issues [ *World Economic Forum* : www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/04/these-are-the-world-s-most-expensive-cities/ ].
that family is *rich* . how many other kids could be just as successful, if afforded the same opportunity?

The WEF ranking is meaningless for Dale and his family b/c it takes into account the average cost of real estate, which is over-the-top. (To buy an apartment like the one Dale and his sons are renting, you would need at least $750,000 USD. To rent, is far cheaper, though.) Also, if you exclude real estate costs, living expenses in Korea - especially the way they live eating at home only Korean-style meals, is much cheaper than living in Australia or any other western country for that matter. While $50,000 per year for a family of three may seem like a lot, it's actually a lot less than living in the U.S., where food, rent, transportation costs, etc., are quite expensive.
