Arnaud is lucky to have someone like his wife based him, she is supportive intelligent and quick to catch. and of course his sprite to make his own shop is his key to success i support him.
omg it's very difficult to explain. it's at hapjeong exit 6. Walk all the way straight and cross 3 roads, then turn left. walk straight and keep looking to the left because the shop is in an alley.
+Rosydi Rosli Is he just selling crepes or does he also offer other French food as well? How is the place, are there lot of customers there? I hope he does well.
+Jill Thompson i think most of the menu is crepe. but there's different types of crepe, dessert crepe such as banana chocolate original, etc and main meal crepe which include salmon, and others. i reached his restaurant around 10pm+ so there's nobody . but the food is amazing. maybe the location of the shop is not so good
As someone who is self employed, I could relate to his frustrations and fears with opening and operating a business. It actually doesn't matter what country you're in, it's the same issue everywhere.
IT'S O HAPPY FOR HIM AND I WISH HIM THE BEST WITH HIS RESTAURANT. I hope that whenever I go to Korea his restaurant is still open and more successful Cuz I would love to visit it!
Hooray! for Amaud nice to see him again. We need more people like him positive, friendly wanted to good for himself, as well for others in the world. Another episode awesome. Wish people who watch this show would encourage others to watch, because it's something we all can identify with wanted to do better in life. Also, maybe clarifying the misconceptions we have about other race/cultures .
i hv been watch almost 90% My Neighbor, Charles, from my viewpoint Koreans welcome white fellow. But when there's ep about black or brown, its really hard for them to survive due to discriminate, i feel really sorry for them that was made me really sad. Ill always watch Kdrama, but when its comes to reality everything was so sad/
Proud to see that a Westerner can make it in Korea, if he's determined. Et un Français en plus, qui est passé dans le tout premier épisode. Ca donne de l'espoir à ceux qui veulent se lancer le même pari, d'ouvrir un "restaurant" en Corée. Bravo Arnaud :)
I found this channel about 3 days ago. I find it fascinating, the different cultures who choose to reside in Korea where they have made a life for themselves and their families. This episode was my favourite, because I see the couple build their business and the people they have bonded with, in their travels, supporting them. I wish them both happiness and great fortune, with their business
I am sure by now the restaurant is a success. It is very nicely decorated, the food looks good and, very important, the owners know how to welcome people and make them feel comfortable. Hopefully the pandemic didn't hurt them too much, so many small businesses are suffering badly.
I didnt know French men are nice like this. they really live cooking and help their wives. their kids are going to be very pretty. Korean- French is great match. I need a French man. haha
You see Ajhumma or whatever you call her, you don't really know him to just judge him that instantly. You don't know all those cries and hard work. And even though you are being realistic you can't say that to someone you don't know especially if that person is really working hard. So people, live with the saying Don't judge a book by its cover💁🏻 lol as if the old lady will see this😂
lmao, Arnaud is taking his inheritance early. The savory crepes would probably sell well in SK and paired with a green salad would be a nice light set meal.
Jill Thompson time will tell. We'll know if KBS will do a feature on him again. In a small way he did already with the sweet crepes by using his MIL's recipe for sweetened red bean.
His English accent lol really portrays the English accent of French people ( my mom is American and my dad French) so when my friends tries to speak English their accent is exactly like him lol and since I’m their friend it’s my job to make fun of them lol I love them so much
That was a great vlog. Loved watching his progress. He will do very well because he has made some amazing friends. I wish him and his wife the very best. Wonder how he's doing now. X
It's actually Ep.54 which was aired in Korea last week. I think KBS world decided not to air prior episodes. If true, it's a real shame because there were many fun and heartwarming episodes like Nahid's family from Afghanistan and Alex from Rania.
I don't know if I'm late to all episodes, but It seems like he's the "first" guy on this show that actually has a good living. I actually don't know I just got into this KBS thing a week ago! 😅
I wonder how is owning your own business ever be considered pathetic, no wonder why some Koreans are considered closed minded especially on things they’ve never seen.
I think they were doing a "where are they now" type of episode. they showed clips from the original episode, and added new ones with clips about what is going on with his life now.
+AnnieMeanie Maybe you switched to a dimension where they haven't showed it here yet. I heard about this on George Norry's Show. Its called the "Mandela Effect"

korean products that or organic will have a green stamp with organic in korean and English and/or a logo of a blue and green apple. the organic trend hasn't hit korea like it has in the west. doubt koreans will care too much if it isnt
+Tim Lim You're wrong. The organic trend is a HUGE thing in Korea right now, with so many Korean farmers into organic farming and selling/shipping their products online.
+Jill Thompson lol maybe it hit seoul hardest because its the city. I'm from Busan and visit korea every summer and winter break. Seldom do I see organic restaurants or organic products in the traditional markets
i'm jealous at Arnaud hyung :( he already experienced snow but here in the Philippines , we can't. cold weather , yes but in Baguio City has the best cold weather.
In this kind of business we shouldnt focus on renovation yet, you have your own restorant now so just focus on doing sales, try overcome the monthly overhead first and making profit continuesly
I don't see a difference with that brick wall. I'm sure it is different but not significantly for me to notice it as any different. Am I the only one that thinks that?
It's breton, they just say it's french so koren viewers aren't confused. They also keep saying Bretagne is a village when it's actually an entire region, ça me fait bien rire
@@azertyuiop7893 omg it did become popular I thought it might have been hopeless because his only menu is crepes and aside from that it wasn't exactly made sure if the dish is palatable for the customers ~~ such good news and well done for him !!
Actually there was an episode on a African man working in a market he was from ivory coast if I remember well and his family is so cuuuute. But I can tell you the experience is totally different ! There were people nice with him ofc but at the market some men would make comment about black people and talking about his penis while he was here, the episode was sad really . The way some people treated them was totally horrible !

I really like Arnauds mindset, he is always positive and happy and friendly towards the rest, after all the struggling he finally has his own shop
Arnaud is lucky to have someone like his wife based him, she is supportive intelligent and quick to catch. and of course his sprite to make his own shop is his key to success i support him.
The way the kids love him so much, he's really a good person.
Arnaud's father: "he lives in a country where he is welcomed and people know how to welcome him"
Subtitles: " he looks happy"
wtfffffffffffffff
His personality is so good, i see why people around him is really like him a lot
I actually visited his store last Tuesday when his store is a week old and his foods are amazing!

Lol they are looting granny's house. Grandma is so cute
I like how he casually cleaned out his grandma's home of all her priceless antiques hahaha
That's like when I go to my mom's house, she is always giving me stuff. Good thing I drive an SUV, haha.
Because she's 80-years-old and maybe she's into downsizing a bit?
OMG Jun is so cute! I want a friend like him ❤ He always help Arnaurd, I hope they can be friends forever❤❤

Picking his grandmother belonging moment is very cute😂
from some angles he looks like david beckham
Did you not watch from the beginning? The host introduce him as the "Crepe selling Beckham".
robertoppenheimer no I didn't, I skip to save time, problem?
Thekooks I do that too sometimes
Yeonjeong's french is so cute!^^
Decent person with a good attitude.
So traduction in french is quite approximative but i felt great to see Arnaud's french family! :)

where is ep 38 and the rest???????😧 I love this show! I've gotten many crushes on the cast members tho lolll

It was the wrong move to use some white coloured material for the gaps, instead of the grey cement for an authentic brick wall look.
