  • Why do we trim up our annuals? This is a great example of how you can take a leggy annual, cut it way back and in 2 weeks what it looks like again. Supertunia Bubblegum needed a little trimming and now it looks great!

Did you just drop the pots into the pots that were in the ground? I’m curious because that might work at my place of work. Thank you. Love all your videos

I noticed that you have the basalt water bubblers in the front. I would love to see those on, any videos with that happening? We are having the same trio installed next week.

We have not had them on for a few years because the water always turned green. We put chemical in but it splashed on the plants and ruined them. It really is a cool look but we need more room around them to not affect the flowers.

I need help..I have the supertunia jazzberry n 1 bubblegum. I'm in Oklahoma zone 7b. Mine look stragley bad. What can I do? We are in high 90s with heat index somedays 109 so far. Can I cut mine back? Will they come back? They are dappled sun. I'm afraid to plant them in total sun. I'm afraid they will burn up with our heat. Can you give me advise Heidi?

They will be best in a full sun area. Dappled sun is not enough for them to bloom well. If you are able to put them in a spot with full sun they may do better. Give them a trim and fertilize weekly and you should see an improvement.

I have my supertunias in a spot that I've now realized doesn't get quite enough sun. It gets a blast of sun from 11am to 2pm and is in shade the rest of the day.I'm feeding them weekly and spraying BT as well but they're just not blooming much. Is it too late in the season to move them? Any recommendations of what I should plant in a spot like that in the future? Zone 6A Chicago / clay soil.

I had that happen before as well where they were not getting enough light and the blooms were few. I have never tried moving them but if they are not doing well you can certainly try. Make sure to get a bog enough root ball.

I am going to assume you are not watering too much. Do you fertilize weekly? Is you soil good?
