The Case for Transformation: Our Patients Can't-Wait ft Suzanne Watnick, MD

The Division of Nephrology hosted Renal Grand Rounds on October 5, 2023, featuring Dr. Suzanne Watnick from the University of Washington. Dr. Watnick, a nephrologist at the Puget Sound Veterans Administration clinic, discussed "The Case for Transformation: Our Patients Can't Wait." During the talk, she described recent national initiatives in transplantation and home dialysis, outlined the reasons for these initiatives from the patient perspective, and addressed the successes, limitations, and challenges related to patient access.
