Good lecture Please I have 2 questions: First:if there is no immediately facility for renal biopsy and it will take time, and after patient creatinine improved but not come back to normal, could I initiate steroids until biopsy done and sure result will take another week to be cleared? 2nd : if creatinine back to normal after holding drug and fluids, is there any need for biopsy or just follow-up? Thanks

Seems the number one thing to do would be to supplement with baking soda, since loss of bicarbonate production by ckd is probably the main reason for compensatory mechanisms like pth to increase blood calcium to balance ph. That way bones don't need to be resorbed.
