Wow! Your home is so organized, clean and streamlined. It looks so easy to maintain. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I’ve started the decluttering process but still find myself buying clothing or shoes etc… Do you have a video on how to avoid shopping and bringing new things into your home? 😊
Thank you! It has been so much easier to maintain than it used to be! That’s awesome that you’ve started the process! I have some tips on this video that may be helpful! Decluttering Wasn't Enough. ruclips.net/video/84VTkao3rSM/видео.html
Video request: Garage, photos/kid sentimental items, tools, and vehicle 😅 The rest of the house is pretty simplified but can use a little inspiration to tackle other areas.
Thank you for the Tour of your storage spaces. What great ideas to apply Velcro to the bottom of containers so they don’t move around! Some people want to have a full pantry so they don’t have to run to the store for a few items and I agree that if you don’t rotate you may find some food items that are expired. Remember there is a difference between Best By Date and an Expiration Date. The grandkids don’t live close by and I have to admit that I’ve found if I have too much food in storage (especially processed snacks) I eat too many because they are just so handy! 😬 That ‘excess’ ends up on my body…not good. So happy to say I’m downsizing my pantry and setting boundaries. 😁👍🏻
Goals! I am excited to have empty spaces in my home. Half my bed storage is empty now, half of my entry table, huge gaps under my bathroom sink and I have one early empty kitchen cabinet already. I was able to bring all my outdoor adventure gear out of the carport storage so we can be more spontaneous too! I'm starting a capsule pantry/fridge and once I get through the excess freezer foods that will be so much easier to manage. I'm excited to cook and putting things away is so much easier.
@@darlawilson7019 It took a few steps but was totally worth it and you don't have to do it all at once, just start with your most commonly used recipes. 1. Pull out your the recipes you make consistently - bonus points for ones with interchangeable protein sources 2. List out the ingredients you need for each dish (not quantities, just the items). Don't duplicate items on the list but once an ingredient is listed add a tick mark each time it gets used in another dish. 3. Review your list for the items that aren't needed in other dishes and lookup substitutions you could make from your core ingredients list. I had a handful of dishes that needed specific fresh herbs so I made a reference card that has all the recipes that use each special herb so I can plan to make those when I stock that item. 4. Turn your list into your shopping list, these are the things you should be keeping on hand and you can start purging anything that isn't on your list. I aimed to use up all my specialty foods that were already open and donated anything still sealed in good shape.
This was so helpful! Your home is lovely. You may have shown this in other videos (I'm about to binge-watch) but I'd love to see how you use the label maker and the price. I'd also like to see dresser organization - sure wish I had an Ikea nearby for the organization bins you showed. New subscriber!
Thank you and welcome! I just added the links to the items, the label maker has gone up quite a bit in price since I bought it, but it is still available on Amazon.
Nice channel! We are about to move, after sixteen years in the same house. 😅 I love to have a nice home, and thought I had sorted out and become a bit more minimal already.. But we have sooo much stuff. 😵😵😵 It"s hard to get rid of things I love, but I think I need to be concidering what we own once more, when we're unpacking. My son and sister are minimalists. I don't think I will ever be in that category, but it has a lot of benefits. I tried not buying clothes for three years because I realized I probably have enough for a lifetime already. So limiting what goes in, and double what goes out, is also an option.
How I am curious how you digitize your journals. I am looking to save some paperwork/journals myself and looking for a good system or program to use! Thank you. :)

Love your videos, but let me help you. "Less stuff, FEWER containers". If you can count it, use "fewer". For things like sugar you can't count, use "less."
Love your style !!! Liked lids stored bottom oven drawer🎉❤
Thank you so much! ❤️

Way to go! Those are huge steps!
I love the idea of a capsule pantry and fridge. I would be interested in hearing any details you would like to share about that

I love what you said, "limiting what goes in, and double what goes out" Such great advice! Good luck with the move!
@@simplehappy7025 Thanks a lot! 😊
FEWER: Fewer in number. "I buy fewer containers now.
LESS: "There is less clutter in my house."
How I am curious how you digitize your journals. I am looking to save some paperwork/journals myself and looking for a good system or program to use! Thank you. :)
Hi! I just type them up onto a private blog. That way they’re saved in the cloud so I don’t have to worry about losing them 😊
I like the way you did this home tour. Nice job! You look familiar to me. Were you in the scrapbooking industry previously?
Thank you! I loved to scrapbook but never worked in the industry.
Keep less- organize only necessary things👏
Great ideas!!! Do you have a link to the label holders? :)
