Got mine installed yesterday, it was a smooth and easy install. The only difference I noted is that the video said to make sure the window was down during fishing the cable which I did, but then I had to plug my door panel back in so I could roll the window up to get enough room to fit my hand in the door to pull the wire clip. My truck also had a plastic sheet over the hole you have to reach your hand into to reach that clip. It peeled back easily and reapplied just fine with the sticky rubber gasket it was applied with. About 30 min per side install and everything works great!
You mean you had to go ahead and plug the door panel back in so you could go ahead and roll the window up to get enough room to go ahead and fit your hand in the door so you could go ahead and pull the wire clip?
Now I am just going to leave a tip. When running your stiff wire through the boot and routing it through the inside of the door, take an extra minute to remove your door speaker. Makes it 100 times easier to route your wire and get both boots back onto the door.
