Scott, if you get close to a light and shake the small tubes around and look very close you are to be able to see the color blue green violet or gold. You should really be able to see it good if you let the sun shine into it. Thanks Roger
decoydad keep it rotating for 2 hours and full cure in 24 hours, though 6 to 10 hours is usually sufficient for use. We have coated lures at 10pm and used them at 6am. We have never let it keep us from fishing.
We have heard of some people thinning the epoxy with acetone and spraying it, but we don't know any details. You shouldn't thin our epoxy any more than a 15:1 ratio in our opinion.
bin-am-wasser Not on our website yet. The Lure Drum (available now) is $115.00 and we have two Glitter Kits (available in two weeks). One has 2 oz. kit of Gel Coat and Gold Glitter ($17.75), and the other kit has 4 oz. of Gel Coat and comes with 4 colors: Blue, Green, Gold, and Violet. Both kits comes with syringes, brushes, cups, and sticks. If interested, please email us at flexcoat@gmail.com. Thanks, Craig.
Well its really all about durability. Its true, Flex Coat is known, for over 40 years, for being the best rod finish for fishing rods. The truth is our finish is great for coating lures and flies as well. Durable, flexible and long lasting. Lures can get beat up quick and Flex Coat can keep them looking great and like new. Many lure manufactures have known this for years.

Nice product !!! However, I get the same effect from regular glitter and Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy. Just saying... In case you are on a budget.
This one is like envirotex or better?
Just bought the iridescent crystals but the tubes are not labeled. How can you tell what colors they are before pouring them in the gel coat?

decoydad keep it rotating for 2 hours and full cure in 24 hours, though 6 to 10 hours is usually sufficient for use. We have coated lures at 10pm and used them at 6am. We have never let it keep us from fishing.

Holy crap, they are 8.99 each. Go to the dollar store and get exacto knives instead.
have you considered trying an airbrush to apply these? perhaps they'll clog

Can it be put over lead?
Yes, There is nothing better over lead.
I thought flex-coat was for rods, where the flex is needed. why on earth would someone want their lures coating to be flexible?
Well its really all about durability. Its true, Flex Coat is known, for over 40 years, for being the best rod finish for fishing rods. The truth is our finish is great for coating lures and flies as well. Durable, flexible and long lasting. Lures can get beat up quick and Flex Coat can keep them looking great and like new. Where could we get a lure rotator like that?
You can get this from Flex Coat directly, call 512-858-7742, or one of our dealers like lurepartsonline.com
Just say glitter instead of crystals
