The video I have been waiting for! My gosh brother. The editing is crazy awesome. Good job! Will be so fun looking for, finding, and experimenting with these bourbons! Good seeing you again brother! Can't even fathom how long it took you to edit this video. Cheers. Brian and family. Spokane Washington
Thanks, I appreciate the comment. Many people have no idea what goes into the editing. Although I've been doing it for a while so I have it down pretty good, its still takes a lot of time. But once in a while it all comes together and its like golf. You might play like shit all day, but hit that last hole with a eagle and you'll be back again next week. Thanks again.
I’m just getting into whiskeys, as I’ve been in the world of craft beer for years. So far I stick with Jameson or 4 roses, usually with Diet Coke. But I’m learning. As a woodworker, i absolutely love the flag in your background. Fun to get ideas for projects to work on.
I was in your shoes around 4-5 years ago. I was even home brewing but one day I had a pour of Dalmore 12. I was hooked instantly. I can't tell you the last time I had a beer. Thanks for watching.
Blantons bounces around $150-$200 in Delaware and I've never understood why. Especially after reading your comment...lol. Thats crazy. Thanks for watching.
I just picked up a Russels Reserve Single Barrel yesterday. Good bottle. I like the Weller Antique and Whistlepig 12. Another one to consider would be the Mckenna 10 yr. Thanks for watching.
Agree with most of what you said. Woodford is always my go to as well. Need to add a bottle of Elijah Craig small batch and Henry McKenna 10 year to your shelf. You won't regret it
Funny you said that. Since I did this video I discovered McKenna 10. I'm recording some videos now about blind tasting different bourbons and the McKenna 10 is hard to beat bind. Thanks for watching.
So my 5...as of right now. #5 - 1792 small batch, #4 Woodford Reserve (regular), #3 Buffalo Trace, #2 Angles Envy and last but least at #1 Dettling (6y). Now with that said, I love Blanton's (for the record, had I know you liked a little ice, I wouldn't have bought you a neat poor) and Eagle Rare, but because they are so hard to get in our area, I placed Bourbons I can find locally in my list. My honorable mentions are: Willett Post Still Reserve and Whistle Pig Piggy Back 6 year.
I like it. To be honest, the more Bourbon I drink the more I tend to prefer it neat. You get more of the flavors. I just picked up a Whistle Pig 6, very nice pour.
@DelmarvaBackyard Whistle Pig 6 is solid, easy to find and a good pour. I can't honestly say I like it better, than say a Woodford but I like that they both are different. We need to catch-up and do a little tasting one evening at a local fine establishment or two. Shoot me a text.
I went to see my cousin recently in Frankfort and much to my surprise Blanton's was available that day. Rare find. $70 a bottle. I will be sipping that on ice until it runs out.
1. Heaven Hill Bottle in Bond ($45) 2. Early times Bib (budget friendly 1 liter $27) 3. Green River Full proof ($48 and non chill filtered) or an alternative to that would be New Riff Single barrel 4. Jack Daniel’s single barrel barrel proof ($65) 5. 4 roses Single barrel or Small Batch Select 6. Rare Breed Wild Turkey ($50) Honorable mention: Weller 107 (wish it was available all the time)
It fluctuates here from $150-$200. I actually found a Gift Basket at a liquor store in Ocean City MD today for 175. It included a bunch of candy, 5 shot bottles of Fireball, Blanton's Single Barrel, Weller Wheat 12 yr, and a random bottle of Vodka Ive never heard of. Thats the fun in hunting, you never know whats going to be on the shelf. Thanks for watching.
Wild Turkey Rare Breed (Sipping), old Forester 100(mixing),whistle Pig piggyback Rye, Old Forester 1920, Woodford reserve double Oaked
I like Rare Breed and Double Oaked a lot. Try McKenna 10 if you haven't. Thats amazing as well as Jacks Single Barrel Rye. Thanks for watching.

Very solid line up. Only have never tried Dalmore 12, adding to the list.
Dalmore was a serious game changer for me. It opened eyes up big time. Thanks for watching.
Blanton's is $75 for me here in Maine.
Great list! Love the Dalmore selection!

Ice in a Glencarin, first time I've seen that. Rock on
Lol, I do some weird shit sometimes. Thanks for watching.
Oban, Knob Creek Single Barrel RYE, Elijah Craig small batch, Four Roses Single Barrel, Balvenie doublewood 12
Thanks for contributing. I like Knob Creek Single Barrel Rye. Excellent list.

Awesome find. Thats next to impossible in most places.

Have you tried Jacks Single Barrel Rye or McKenna 10. Both of those are amazing. I just recently found them. Thanks for watching.
I’ve always been curious. Are you in Delaware, Maryland, or Virginia?
Near the beach in southern Delaware.
Blantons at $170 is insane

Blantons should be 65-70 bucks a fifth not 170
MSRP is but every market is different and here in the small market of Delaware prices can get out of control on some products. Thanks for watching.
