Get a car, preferably from one of the bosses. Keep it in good shape by visiting the repair shops throughout the map. In case you need to get on foot at the final minutes of the game try to have those rocket gloves ready. GG

@@BenFoilHat yes they are there every game. Same spots. You can also heal your cars with the blue cacti, in the new zone, by running them over. There are also boxes that repair instead of vehicle upgrades. Also by using the repair torches.

@@Elixrfy My friend who playtests the game was asked by Epic for suggestions on changes and almost the entire team recommended to nerf the vehicles and add checks to them. But this was only a month prior to the season coming out, so they couldn’t course correct.

This is the first season or chapter of Fortnite I've enjoyed because of the cars lol, I'm gonna enjoy em while there here
I stopped playing for a while, came back and the cars make it almost unplayable…unless you get a car lol
it feels more Mad Max then Fallout and the cars are a major pain being the only thing people are doing atm
All the cars are crazy! They are very very good now. Almost too good lol, the amount of times I got knocked due to a car hitting me with a spiked cow catcher.

Cow catcher: normal bump damage.
Spiked bumper: high damage towards enemies and vehicles.
Just use bunkers to counter cars if you don’t like the meta, you can hide in a bush until late game, use port a bunker when cars get close. Fry them and avoid damage, you need to be creative if you don’t want to use cars.

season 3 seems to be not tested at all
cars are just insanly overpowered, there is no direct way to counter them. Basically you run away if you see one.
Whats the point of this update is very uncertain, probably to irritate playerbase and lose playercount.
I was kinda hyped for the new battlepass, but I wont get it untill vehicles get nerfed. If cars stay the same as they are I just wont play this season at all, there is no point.
If I want to play twisted metal - I will play twisted metal, not Fortnite.

It's a feature, not a bug, Epic specifically balanced it to force everyone to do car-on-car combat

Few matches and it’s always the same thing, to counter cars it’s not cool being just another car or that play for who has more patience to get in or get out of the car to get the kill. They need to remove that auto fix, and nerf the hp and damage of those cars. Have no weapon that damages the car and the driver to counter this

I think getting used to the new gloves is the biggest thing for me late game trying to track players moving with it then trying to shoot, but the cars are pretty much everywhere and once you get one the boost and nitro its so op cause it doesnt use any fuel anymore so its so easy to run away.

Epic needs to add a driver-controlled eject seat option for both the driver seat and passenger seat. People are going to be reported for teaming in masses since people are just going to jump into someone's car and take over the turret in the final circles. And with turrets being a thing it's risky AF to hop out and shoot them while they're already in control of the turret, so there has to be a solution and I think that's it.

I jumped into a strangers car and helped take out more teams because it was easier to lower the numbers for the final fight then too jump out and get ran over lol. We mutually fought different squads before fighting each other in the end game so yeah this situation must happen alot
@@noheatagent2161 Yeah, and techincally that would be considered teaming and people could report you. The ejector seats are the solution.
what I do is what until late game and avoid all people then when storm is like 5dps just fly them off a cliff into the storm
dude today the final zone was me and 2 other ppl and there was one mythic vehicle and both of them jus happened to be in the car and they sprayed me down, like how tf am i supposed to anything about that 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I’ve played every season since Fortnite began. I haven’t always enjoyed the Metas but I’ve always been keen to play. Until this season! In my first game I killed 6 players without leaving the car, 4 of them within 20 seconds. With the ridiculously overpowered cars, the game is now unrecognisable as the old skill-based Fortnite. Really grates on me more as I just upgraded from PS4 to PS5 to get more enjoyment. Sadly, a waste of money. I hate this season and I’m actively looking for a replacement game. Thanks for the tips.

They will probably nerf some of the weapons. Most people in Asia are adapting: basically using mobility to jump on driver seat and throwing you off a cliff or flipping the car so it forces both places to get out. Frenzy auto shotgun took 2 nerfs to be somewhat acceptable, it takes time.
I haven't bought the battle pass yet for just this reason ...

kill nitro boss, get his medallion mythic glove and the mythic car. Keep the car healthy the entire game drive around till end game. Spam mythic glove at end game. You win.

There is a way to do the pixace trick in the cars, do the strat normally just if it puts you in the passanger seat and makes you use the turret keep holding down on the pixace and press whatever button it is to get out of the turret for pc its f and it will start hitting the player
Ain’t no way, so you can basically kill everyone on gunner seat and not have a worry about people jumping in the driver seat? I must test this today 😂

This car meta was enough for me to be done with the game. I still enjoy watching your videos, but I don’t understand the purpose in the direction they’re taking. It is especially annoying in solos.

I’m a very casual player so I’m enjoying the chaos of this season but the cars do need a nerf, the mythic ones are practically indestructible and the turrets are just spammy
I love the cars and the chaos it causes. I was sooo bored and over the game the last night of last season and now I'm excited again.
The pickaxe trick is a very funny, handy tip. I noticed that when you fired the car's grenades, they bounced onto the ground then got the elim, which was a good tip on its own, as I was always failing when trying to make a more direct hit
So far this season is fun but think it will get old really fast. Let's see how they progress...
I don’t understand why you can’t destroy turrets or have emp or rocket launcher to counter cars. This is a stupid game now and not fun. My tip is if you play squads and take up good positions you can destroy cars if you all fire, and you will find when people jump out cars they have no skills.
Your videos are great, well organized, not complicated, clear and easy to follow, and there is always 1 or more tips worth the watch.
You can’t do the pickaxe trick most of the time because the cars will have turrets and when you enter it auto starts shooting if ur holding attack button
With how much the season revolves around cars and all of their modifications, I would if they had a mad Max collaboration later on

But in solos as soon as you stop to shoot - you're a sitting duck, it kills all the momentum.

It's easy in solos . Just drive around. See someone, switch seats, and attack if you have the machine gun or grenade launcher

4:20 - Thanks for that tip, bro! I just got a Victory Royale because I was using crossbow on their mythic SUV, and that new SAVAGE mythic rifle. My money shot was using the fists, in the air, to smash down on his car. So epic!
Do all boss cars regen on their own? I'm wondering count it be linked to having a medallion? The reason im saying this is cause i came to third party a guy who killed the boss, but he took off with the medallion and i got the car, and I think it didn't regen. The reason I'm not sure is cause it was the first few hours in the season, i still didnt know much, but i looked at the health, thought to myself "hm, I thought it was supposed to regen" and didn't think on it too hard, so like it's not impossible that i saw wrong... But like I think i saw correct.
I think that the fists HAS to be THE cars conter, like two punches at least for the cars be balanced

I love this season, it feels like mad max and ive never watched those movies. There def needs to be some nerfs but me and my friends are having a blast this season.
I like what Fortnite is trying to do with the cars but there’s just to many of them on the map. And you have the gloves and nitro which are really op. I’ve been card into gloves and dead in a matter of 3 seconds. 122 damage if you get hit by a car with a front push guard.
If this was the release of Fortnite chapter 1 season 1 it would go under in a week

I’ve stolen them from players and also blew one up once when its owner was fighting for a medallion in the big rig place. Stealing it is pretty cool.
I have a theory about the crossbow explosion, possible any now that isn’t mythic does forward and sideways splash damage, and mythic does full radius splash damage if landing point? If you have the time to figure this out that’d be a cool tip to know

I’m finding the cars in this season quite off putting and for this reason alone am holding off the battle pass.
I knew bows did some damage but that mythic bow combine with iron fist while on nitro also nuka cola makes q difference.
they need to get rid of the auto healing on the mythic cars and lower the regular health a bit on the normal cars. That way it still supports the theme of the season without making cars a requirement

Did you know, tomatohead is not in the game because he went bankrupt? When he had a restaurant he was charging $99 for a stick of bread, when that went out of business he got a food truck but didnt change the prices.

The Mythic cars are absolutely cracked. The handling is busted, the infinite nitro is nuts, they regenerate, they come fully upgraded, AND they have nearly double heath! Geesh 😑🤦♂️

you cant pickaxe in a seat that has a gun you can still hop in the back seat if someone has a gun equipped and do it though
i think people are saying the pickaxe trick dosent work cus if you get into the gunner seat of a car it automatically puts you into the turret mode, which dosent let you keep swinging your pickaxe. so i dont think its possible to pickaxe glitch someone in a 2 seater this season, but the 4 seater ones work because you can just get in the back of the car

(Late to the party, i know), but i just started playing fortnite about a month ago. While i was having fun with the game, im not a fan of cars.. might wait until they get thru this little bit.
Cars are bugged at the moment. You can get stuck inside and can’t do anything and become invincible. If teammate or another player destroys car you can play as normal but with god mode basically. Fortnite unplayable right now . I’m sure players are gonna abuse this
I dunno if the Machine Gun on the cars has auto aim, or not. It does have bullet trajectory which is rather annoying if you wanna try and use it for longer range.
This season is ruined. Straight up anyone that likes this so far it will get old quick. Will probably find a new game to switch to. Really let down so far.

They changed the mechanic where when walking if u jump u can then slide off that jump, does that affect your game play? I used it to jump slide while using a med kit after flow berry , I used it for slide entry thru doors to preserve sprint, I also used it downhill, and to grief in the lobby. Has this affected your game play?
Also how do u feel about cars driving thru shield bubbles?

This season is kind of bad looting is not even a thing all you need is 2 weapons 2 heals and mobility you get a car and when your car blows up you use your mobility to get to another car you repeat this over and over again 90 percent of fights are car fights and when you kill a person who’s not in a car and doesn’t feel rewarding because you know the player is either bad or couldn’t find a car epic needs to fix this it doesn’t even feel like Fortnite honestly more like twisted metal

Try playing this season on the Nintendo ds lite 😂. My kids use the ps5 and Xbox so I’m left with a screen smaller than my iPhones. Shooting out a moving cars windows is just 😅. This season in car wars. Have one or die.

Step 2 avoid someone else getting into the driver's seat of your car, because for some reason you can't shoot them out even though if the role was reversed they'd be able to hit you.
Step 3 use turret to dom everything in existence

Hiring NPCs is a problem this season as the NPC sits in the gunner seat and I can’t use the gun. Nor will the NPC use it? Am I doing something wrong?

Get a car. Get cow catcher. Destroy 500 structures and collect 300 bars. Loot purples and blues. Die to first on-foot encounter.
The pickaxe issue is when you jump in and try and swing it shoots the attached gun like turret or launcher
We need an item that properly counters or threatens cars. If you get the mythic cars, you can be totally fearless that anything will kill you
And even better way to switch between the turret, and the driver seat is when you’re in Turbo hit L stick in your automatically switch the driver seat

I won’t mind this car focused season as much once they start adding better and more counters to the cars. Give us EMPs and snipers back or a rocket launcher. There should be more options than just having another car yourself b

I don't have the means to test this, but does anyone know if the pickaxe trick can work if you hop into the passenger seat of a car with a turret on it? It seems like the turret will always take priority over just being seated, which ruins the trick.
