I understand a little bit on why the Squad movies didn't live up to the hype. Like the scene were weird. After the kill there were others already facing them and just stood there to be killed. Also they were close enough to notice them as well.
These scenes are so stupid. As they walk through the camp setting people on fire, their victims screaming. None of the other people in camp seem to notice.
Everyone involved nailed it with this movie. It's actually sort of ironic since the recent video game Suicide Squad channels a lot of the energy of this movie, but is getting hated on due to people expecting an Arkham game. It's the mix of wanton brutality, dark comedy, and cinematic shots that make for a great, not-for-everyone anti-hero movie.
