after having few types of angle kits, I have this solution in my new build, which drives more on the street. For sure it is something more then stock. Still have stock-style problems like not super selfsteer and lack of camber. Then with lower acentric bushings and a bit of camber from adjustable top mounts drives better and...decent :) But I have to be ohnest - still just simple 4-bolt adaptos are solving all problems from above with a lot more angle. But for sure it is less street-able. Good review overall - everybody just have to choose 'their' way pros and cons :)
Absolutely agree, at some point we’ll be installing a full angle kit on the white e46 too, but while we work on improving other aspects of the car first this is a good alternative.
Got this with Eibach Pro Kit springs. Is it required to install these angle limiters on a car that's for daily drive or is it only for cars that do stuff like drifting and track racing?...
The spacers allow the steering rack to extend further than its original length (it can’t extend past the tierod), meaning you can turn the steering wheel further and squeeze out a bit more angle.
Very informative!
Fantastic video guys! Surprised $30 can get such gains!

It’s mainly for drifting, but it has been helpful doing u turns in tight spots and parking, so it’s not a bad daily drive mod!
This + welded diff = drift build
So good for $30
Does this technically make the steering quicker?
AFAIK, no, they extend the amount of space your steering rack can extend, meaning you’re turning the steering wheel further.
I still don't understand how this works. You just spaced it out and then removed the spacing with the alignment, didn't you?
