    if you want to brake on a scooter, you half-squat your way until your body is above the rear wheel or even behind it a bit, then hit the brakes so hard... this way you have the friction distributed over the two tiny tires upon inertia during braking.

    I enjoyed riding this. Acceleration was decent and regen braking was impressive, but the let down was those brake and motor cables sticking out, as well as the screen, which you couldn't see when out in full sunshine. Ironically, they made it brighter than the previous version two.

    Alright so let me give you the straight up stuff on this scooter, im at 860km on it and so far so good.. BUT, you have to check all your bolts at least once a week, check your tire pressure every 2nd or 3rd day, make sure you grease every single moving part because if you dont, you will start hearing creaking noises and so on. Also the disc break that comes with this scooter are total crap, and are probably bent, but the good news is you dont use those, you use regen breaking, and make sure she is all the way to the max with your acceleration once you get used to the scooter. Besides that, i never had any issues what so ever with this scooter, seems to be ok, a little pricey though compared to what is offered on the market right now. IF you can get a Vsett go with that... Apollo scooters is ok but not that great.

    $2,000, get rid of the cheap bell and install an electric one that would make the regen more comfortable. Tidy up the wiring.
    Change the cheap kickstand. Change the cheap rubber throttle & regen controls. Install a brighter headlight.
    I'm sure Apollo is aware of these upgrades. It would be nice for viewers to know what kind of after-sale service these companies give, so many just disappear into the wilderness once the scooter has been sold. Make a wall chart with a point system to give response time and customer feedback, can you call them or is it internet-only contact? & how do they handle any warranty work.
    You are doing reviews that influence customers to decide what to buy. it might be good for your feedback to the manufacturers to help improve their sales with what is good & negative to improve the product. Doing this you will arrive at 100,000 subscribers, no one else is doing it. Regards, Frank.

    • @MrCentralDriver
      @MrCentralDriver  5 месяцев назад

      you can find warranty information on the website. sometimes warranties are different depending on product or its a set warranty for all products sold off the website. I can't give feedback on any issues if i don't have any but also companies will work with me asap because there is deadlines and timeframes so my service will be different. you would have to look for videos or jump on the group pages to see any issues people had and how the company handled them

      You don’t need hydraulic disc brakes or mechanical disc brakes…people are underselling the regen braking throttle. I have my regen brake throttle set on 3/10 and I never use brake handles to slow or stop. Until you try the regen throttle for yourself you won’t understand. Other scooter brands have regen but you have to use disc brake pads to get the regen so that’s fn stupid. I will NEVER need to change brake pads EVER.

    The V3 is where the Phantom stops being a man scooter and starts becoming an appeasement to beginners. The incessant pursuit of regenerative braking is out of tune with the wants and needs of real riders, and Apollo is simply trying to pull in the youngs and stupids. Additionally, dont be afraid to wear some safety gear so your target audience of noobs don't learn unsafe riding practices directly from your videos.
