Treatment of Pref. Share Capital
In Valuation of Shares Chapter
Net Assets Method
Deduct the entire Preference Share Capital at last.
Yield Value Method
Deduct the dividend of Preference Share Capital from Profit given and then you will get PROFIT AVAILABLE TO ESH.
In Goodwill Chapter you completely ignore Preference Share Capital while calculating Average Capital Employed and all.
