- Hello folks! Long time no speak. Can't believe I haven't posted a video to RUclips since mid-June. The time has absolutely flown by, as you can expect when a baby makes an appearance. I'm coming back to make consistent content and I am so excited about it. You respecting your daughter's privacy from the beginning is yet another sign of what an amazing parent you are. I wish everyone thought that way. As an auntie of 10 and a great-auntie of 6 kids, helping the moms as their body healed as much as I could, I am impressed that you are already back! Take your time. Once a month or every other week is also reasonable. Lots of love and hugs from the Pacific Northwest 🧡

"I've had a whole baby"... haha! Love that! Congrats on baby and motherhood! It is a lot! I'll give you some unsolicited advice... try to enjoy the baby/toddler age as much as you can. My kid is 21 yo now. I'd give anything to relive the earlier years. It flew by! Again, congrats! Glad to see you again!

Congratulations on Motherhood! Setting boundaries where your Cherub is concerned is absolutely fabulous. How you parent is up to you and her father. Suggestion, you can pick a nom de guerre for her if that would be easier. I've also heard that if you get one of those teddies that you can record your heartbeat on, and put one of your worn t-shirts on it, that can help when a baby is clingy. She sounds precious. Oh, and it's ok to complain about aspects of parenthood. It's not all rainbows and ice cream. I think you would love Shawna The Mom here on YT. Motherhood is beautiful, an adventure, and exhausting. Much love to you and virtual hugs for you Cherub.

Congrats!!! You are not alone. I’ve raised two children and love them with all of my being but will say that motherhood, particularly when they are small, is a very bizarre mixture of the most magical beautiful moments in life and the most horrendously traumatic moments. It does get easier, though.
I had a baby at the beginning of June and im in awe of all you are doing still. You are amazing! Also i live just an hour from Nottingham if you ever really need someone (without sounding too weird)

My son was the same way when he was a baby. What really helped was secure swaddling and rolled towels to shape as arms. He's almost 15 so maybe there's better technology than rolled towels now lol. Happy you and baby are doing well. Look forward to future videos. Take care
We swaddle at night but I think I may have to start doing it during the day, although I don't know how many more swaddle days we have 😅 x
Glad to see your face and hear baby. Never feel pressured to share anything personal. I had eventful birth with my second and 16 years later I still give very few details if the topic comes up.
Great to see you again! Though if you’re feeling overwhelmed please go and see your doctor, especially if you’ve been through a traumatic birth. The loneliness is very real in those early stages, but please don’t force yourself out if you don’t feel ready. I ended up with postpartum depression for a long time because I couldn’t recognise it. (Mine ended in an emergency section) you need to look after yourself

🎉🎉🎉🎉 well done mummy!!! Nice to hear you are in the mood to get everything rolling again! Parenting is hard! I find it too, there are many things people dont talk about regarding parenting, and giving birth too! My husband had to get stuffs for me too, very difficult delivery, and needed much time to process. Talking about it with friends really helped me process it though, and in hindsight, these first weeks with babies were the most precious weeks of my life hehe so cliche ❤❤

Congratulations! Glad to see you back, but also you deserve enjoying these beautiful moments with the tiny one as well. You will find your rhythm soon, I promise! Just an idea, at night after a good bath for baby, feeding, and burp maybe letting her lay while you sing to her - you MIGHT, just maybe, get to knit or crochet 😂 since I know it can help us wind down as well. Plus it should help baby learn to self soothe and I loved singing my daughter to sleep (not promising that baby will fall asleep or not want to be held - since I cannot sing and usually rocked her to sleep). I just wanted to mention the idea, because if I could do it all again now I would want to try that. P.S. it’s been a few years now, I still sing to her at night and she usually falls asleep within minutes. ❤

Never appologize for having a child or being a mother! Men do not ever feel the need to apologize for becoming a parent women should not have to! Its a part of you now. Tiny thing does sound adorable though - enjoy her!! My advent is out for delivery today woohoo!! Its amazing you got them dyed up, packaged and shipped sooo freakin early all while being pg and having a baby!
I've missed you too! Life is life-ing so not a lot to share. I rely on my knitting to keep me sane, lol... currently sorting out whether I am doing any gift knitting this year.
Boundaries are good and I hope no one makes you feel bad about them...we all have to decide where those lines are and shouldn't have to apologize for them 😉😁

My 9mo old was the same for naps until she was about5mo them i did some sleep training because i was going insane and she was getting really heavy for 2 hour of baby wearing

Congratulations to you and your family, Hannah! Welcome to motherhood. 🫂 I love that you're protecting your daughter's identity. Baby routines change often as they reach new milestones. I remember how excited we were when our youngest finally started sleeping through the night! By the way, he is a senior in high school, and turning 18 soon!! 🥲 Time has flown by.
