    Belts are starting to go bad in my Sanyo version of this camera it won’t eject my tape

    I am quite curious as to how this would look with Beta1 speed. Because this sure has a lot of dropouts.

      Fairly certain the BMC110 didn't have a Beta 1 speed option - Beta II only. I've had great results using a higher grade of tape. I've been using Maxell Betacam cassettes in my BMC550 and hardly get any dropouts. They should be fairly cheap and easy to obtain.

      All Betamovies recorded at BII speed expect the GCS-1 and Betamovie Pro at B1s. This clip was recorded on poor tape stock at the time.

      Hope those are Betacam oxide cassettes you were using.
      As you may know, cassettes for formats like Betacam SP are too hard on the heads of Betamax equipment.
