Finally someone who captures properly at 4:3 aspect ratio so I can watch on a native display. All these other black bar on the side doofuses.

I believe the maximum slow motion speed with that camera is 48 fps not 64 fps.

Yeah I got this one. Haven’t shot anything with it. I use my Rex 5 Bolex mostly

I have 4 betamovie 200 camcorder batteries that no longer hold charge as they are 30+ years old, I REALLY need to get this camera working, there is no workaround. Is there anyone I can pay to replace the cells in my batteries? I have tried finding replacement batteries online but there are none. Any help would be amazing. I need this camera for filming a horror movie as soon as possible.

one question, you have the original battery working or you have to plug it on the car plug?
Can you upload the master tape? Dubbing from Beta 2 to VHS SLP/EP is going to screw up the image. That's way the audio sounds bad and the color is off.

Hang on... don't these things use lead acid batteries? I have a VHS camera and I can't take it on planes for that exact reason.
They use NiCads.

I am quite curious as to how this would look with Beta1 speed. Because this sure has a lot of dropouts.
Fairly certain the BMC110 didn't have a Beta 1 speed option - Beta II only. I've had great results using a higher grade of tape. I've been using Maxell Betacam cassettes in my BMC550 and hardly get any dropouts. They should be fairly cheap and easy to obtain.
All Betamovies recorded at BII speed expect the GCS-1 and Betamovie Pro at B1s. This clip was recorded on poor tape stock at the time.
Hope those are Betacam oxide cassettes you were using. As you may know, cassettes for formats like Betacam SP are too hard on the heads of Betamax equipment.

Dropout galore. A bad tape and/or dirty video gear. Get that VCR cleaned, mister. 😉
More than likely to be the tape. Recommendations to *Betamovies.* Use better tape. Recommended brands: 1. Maxell 2. TDK 3. Fuji 4. Scotch
He’s not using a VCR but recording directly from the camera playback like most lazy fad people. Also the dirty lines are done on purpose for le instagram retro filter effect. Smh
