I have a friend in England - my impression is that England and much of Europe has gone pansy left-wing liberal - any time you don't have good leadership in government, everything goes down the shi**er - America can't wait for January 20 when dumb and dumber are EJECTED - idiots biden and kamaallaaaa are completely WORTHLESS - they make barakkkk look good, really and he was absolutely worthless - voted in on RACE - that's how stupid the LEFT is - America's true President will take back the reins as he did before. Look at the TRACK RECORD. In America any time broken-brain LEFT-WING LOSER LIBERALS are in charge, 1) nothing gets accomplished and 2) anything they do takes America BACKWARDS - no progress PLUS GOES BACKWARDS. Right now after 4 years of worthless shi%%%% from the LEFT, we have HIGHER prices for food, gas, interest rates - key indicators of the economy - not to mention higher unemployment...... I and the True Americans could go on for days about this. Watch 2025 and how Trump will once again kick a$$ and take names - illegals and terrorists are not going to like the next 4 years. And the True Americans are VERY HAPPY. Thanks be to GOD - seriously - as America is rooted and founded upon the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - also completely disregarded by the LEFT.

For me it's all about mindset. If getting kidnapped or scammed weighs too heavily it's not where I'd want to be. If you were able to have some self defense that might help with that. But, If you're seeking companionship, warm climate, and more financial freedom, then there's the tradeoff. Also, depending what your home country has turned into. Probably no better place for a lonely white retired foreignor than PH. Roosters, I could handle. But, the noise level of dogs, motorcycles, karaoke, and rain on the steel roofs get to me. Add in the inconvenience and mosquitos adjustment and the recipe for happy living is up in the air. I married a philipina ofw, it just happened, and I didn't know anything about her homeland until then. She wants to retire there. I don't think I do anymore. That's probably going to be a major issue.

Say broken leg, seriously broken, I mean. You have a very limited period of time to save it. Usually emergency surgery is required. Good quality food is another issue. For instance, no cheese, no quality dairy products. As you age, you start losing bones. You really need that calcium. There is a reason most filipinos are short. And, of course, there is no such thing as privately owned land for foreigners there. There is always a chance you can be kicked out by your "significant other". Happened to many , many older guys there.

@@pinoyinvestor101 Actually, americans do not consume a lot of dairy. Secondly, boxing pacquiao is not an argument. Most professional fighters are on roids, including PACMAN. Boxing is mostly skills. Pacman is the the exception. H Shinya had never provided any clinical data that proves his statements, including the statement you mentioned. Filipinos are not strong at all. Many older filiinos are suffering from osteoporosis. Low calcium consumption is actually the reason for their short stature.

With all due respect, I thought we had left being silly to the Americans. This video is the equivalent of Elliot Eastman's videos before his abduction. You know it's dangerous there and are calling unnecessary attention to yourself. You are basically shouting to the four winds in Mindanao: "Come get me, Mr. Abductors! I know it's dangerous, but so what!"

@@Ghekko-kw3zz "He's not saying anything offensive about any locals"
      Neither did Elliot.
      "not scamming anyone"
I know where you are coming from with this, but NEITHER did Elliot.
"not boasting about his special rights as a Muslim convert"
      That's a positive, not a negative.
      "he even wears a shirt."
      That's all you got.
However, this vlogger did the most dangerous thing Elliot did, which was daring the abductors to come get him by making this video.

@@ChochiT0-ddd7fd obviously your version of the story was the lite reading version. He married twice in a year. The first wife lives 40 minutes away from the second, he called the first a scammer multiple times- that's insulting a local. Scamming - 20% interest a month is a scam. @@ChochiT0-ddd7fd also you may not be aware that the total of Abusayef & MLF kidnapped foreigners, of all time, would fit in a minibus? Or that there's 2,000+ foreigners living permanently in Zamboanga province? Obviously not. Keep checking for traffic when crossing the road- much more dangerous.

He must live in Mindanao, when he talked about the weather.
My biggest issue is finding healthy food.
Here the cost of living is 1/4 of Aust, but then u figure in Airfare and visa makes it 1/2, but finding familiar food makes it nearly the same.
Im living in iligan, walk everywhere in the middle of nowhere, never been threatened. Maybe i look as poor as them.
