I really agree that trust, understanding and respect are the foundation for a successful relationship. I would just add kindness and patience too. So it's important that people don't rush into relationships. Only by spending time with each other can you get to know each other. I'm biased but I think these basic qualities are more prevalent among Filipinas. But you still need to take your time. Good luck to everyone!
