Thank you for watching my video here in Blackpool at The Norbreck Castle Hotel.
I was genuinely shocked, I'd heard nothing but bad things about it ... and in my opinion this really wasn't that bad!

Stayed at The Norbreck a few weeks ago & we were lucky enough to get a room at the end where it’s getting refurbished. The twin room was freshly painted & the beds looked as though they had been replaced with new ones with new single mattress’s & clean bedding so we were surprised & lucky. Quite a biggish room too although bathroom was quite small but plenty clean towels & was relatively clean. For a stay of just 2 nights it suited us fine & no complaints. New carpets in the hallways. This hotel is gonna take years to refurbish but suggest you ask for a room which has been done but seems they are trying their best in the process to keep their customers happy. The reception staff seem polite & helpful. Staying 2 nights for £72 we found to be good value & would stay here again. 👍😊

I'd there's a iron in the rooms you stay in warm it up and then keep ironing over the bed with the sheet on until feels hot, then peel back the sheet and see if mattress have bed bugs the heat brings them out. If see nothing bed is clear. Or you'll see loads of black dots, indicating bed bug. Keep up the video's enjoy watching them.
I saw that on tik tok.. the video I watched was proven to be false .. but I am interested to see if it works !

I stayed there about 10 years ago and back then it looked like it was stuck in the 70s the inside. Its good to see they are finally doing something about it and doing a refurb but the problem is it will just be left to rot for many years once again once they've made the current changes.

Hey adam, loved this, wasn't expecting anything good when I saw the title but it looked ok, good even, it was dusty and the pubes were rife but can't have it all I suppose lol, I would wonder after all the youtubers that have reviewed this place if the Norbreck has decided to try and improve a bit, they have had alot of bad reviews, would love to see you stay again just to compare a different room, see if all rooms are as good, love all the fun you put into these videos, their brilliant to watch :)

What time do you start and finish work in your new job? As you arrived at this hotel quite early in the afternoon. Just curious
I arrived at 8pm at night 🤣 and I start at 8 am these days :) I now work 9 hours per day at my full time job :)
Not often you get baths in rooms nowadays.
I was shocked !
Keep wanting to try Norbreck hear so much bad about it and can understand it in the many videos on this place, but you do see some positives and I think it seems ok enough and I don't usually stay up that end although places like Norbreck, Bispham and Cleveleys are nice enough. That chair looks decent enough to me and I'd use it. Fun fact Norbreck Castle was built back to front as they had they plans wrong way round, hence why I used to joke as a tram conductor "people are gad to see back of the place" . I'll be up next Friday until Sunday give us a shout if your there mate,😅😂

Stayed at the Norbreck a couple of times and it's not as bad as people make it out to be, just a pity you did not get a sea view room because the view of the beach is quite awesome,... before making yourself a drink out of the cups pour some boiling water in them and give them a rinse out that's what i always do....always enjoy your video's .

I'm shocked 😲 loads better then I thought it was going to be. Even the lobby etc looked nice. I would stay there 💯. I always stay at the grand when in Blackpool. Should do a vid there sometime

the room does not look to bad as the furniture looks newish the room cleanish but the bedding leaves a little to be desired.after all it is brittania .at least the windows open.i do not know why management can't get there act together and have more pride in their hotel .this applies to a ew large hotels in blackpool have a great week

Try the woodview hotel we stayed there 3 years ago lucky only for one night loads of mould and someone opened door while we were in there

Maybe the door lock only opens when you turn the inside handle but if the lock was on, the outside handle might not give access? 🤷♀️ (I'm trying to be positive) You need someone trying to get in the room in the dead of night to test it properly and see if that works 😄😄

I stayed there a couple of weeks ago. Had a single room. Check my very quick review - Single Room and View at Norbreck Castle. Only about 3 minutes long.
