This changes my entire perspective of the character from the show Chicago PD; all this time I thought he was falsely arrested and accused of something he didn't do and was proven innocent, given this is how his spin-off series started It definitely changes my viewpoint, I saw him as such a badass to root for but now I'm not so sure, I still love the series but now i'm a bit jaded towards him! Lol 😁😉💯🔥👍🏻
@jp-fk5ke I always thought that was some sort of cover he was using as a means of getting into the underground of criminal activity to find out what they are about so that he can use the information he gets for his taskforce to stop whatever major crime that was taking place in the city, boy am I quite the naive guy! If viloight was a real father he would have Let his son face the charges. I know it looks bad for the son of a cop to end up in a high-end prison With potential people who will harm him. But Innocent people should have to suffer with life problems
Bottom line, Voight does what ever he damn well pleases to take down criminals, laws be damned. Laws that he took an oath to uphold. Even got his only friend killed. What amazes me the most are the comments about this show on YT, people gushing about what a great guy he is, etc etc. And the rest of his unit.

You never noticed he was dirty from episode 1 it looked like he was dirty. They even show that the gang member knew him for charge street taxes

Chicago Fire came before Chicago PD and this was where introduced Voight before Chicago Pd aired officially in 2014
