Great HOF video, as always, but too bad it comes just 10 days after Willie Mays'. Thanks and Blessings from San Juan 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico.

I saw Orlando Cepeda many times in Scottsdale, AZ when they took over the Memorial for Spring Training, and I remember getting a book from my aunt for my birthday about all the Rookie of The Years up till that point. A detail seems to be always missing. Orlando was born with his left leg significantly shorter than his right. Not a word about it in these rememberances! Orlando Cepeda, Bobby Bonds, Willie McCovey, and no less than Willie Mays. You want hitting and power, these guys will always be my favorites. By the way, Fergie Jenkins, pitcher from the Cubs use to make all of them cut up when in the box, he owned them. Fergie was my favorite personality ever in those days.

I think it's terrible that some baseball stat sites do not show Cepeda's complete career stats. About a year ago, I was looking for his stats with StL, and the site that usually has full stats for all players only had his final season, and career totals, not his year-by-year stats.
StL made a trade to Atlanta before Cepeda had played "two full seasons" for the Cardinals. Their team's HOF requires more than two seasons, and in spite of Orlando being a key players in two World Series appearances for StL, the club never made an exception for Cedepa, and recognize him in their HOF.

Ty for the video. I just don't understand why he was traded so many times. He definitely was a keeper

SF disrespected him by trading him to st.luis then wins MVP they also disrespected the alou brothers Felipe and Matty became sensations probably more than Orlando.. what does this say the giant organization before 2010..I lost my loyalty the the giants but remain solid with these solid aficionado of basbol

Jacqueline..I will tell a little fact the reason these PLAYERs did so awesome was they left the unforbidden.. CANDLESTICK park .the cold and treacherous with.. although WILLIE Mays kicked its ASS .can you only imagine what his numbers would have been with the dodgers stadium.. also there was a player bill madlock batting champion that the giants signed a 350 plus hitter and couldn't hit 250 in SF FYI no one talks about the STICK!
