Ocular Max just needs to make Ratbat and soundwave's autoscout to complete this set.
I have pretty similar toy a looong time ago when I was maybe 5 year old, a yellow cassette turn into a tiger robot, kinda similar to Ravage but more bulky (not a transformers, I don't even know what a transformers robot back then). I really love it and playing with it all day, but it lost when I was moving to another town. :(
I don't think so because I'm sure it's not a robot from Transformers series (no logo or stickers, probably just a toy from local factory since I don't live in USA), and it was 21 years ago but thanks for the reply :)

Finally... friggin FINALLY! Do you know how many years I have waited for reasonably priced casette tapes for Soundwave and a Casette Player type Soundwave?
I believe that there is a mega action series Soundwave big enough for these ocular max cassettes to fit in.
I'm with u on this pointless debate as 2 who's who Emgo my friend. I go strictly by the cartoon, so whatever a certain character is called in the cartoon, that's the name I'll forever use with him/her

Also I know this is like almost 2 years later but you should upload a 10 hour video of them running their piledrivers. That's an amazing feature and I adore it.

I just received Rumble, Frenzy and Ravage from BBTS. Omg they look and feel so good! I can't wait to put them in my display case next to Soundwave.

I had both the original G1, and the packaging as I recall red and black is Frenzy and blue is Rumble. Of course that was how long ago, I could be erroring.

the best way i have found with the pounders for them not to droop is too flip the the shoulders upsidedown and flip the forearms up and then put on the pounders so then that way they dont droop

Bought these 2 and Ravage. Had to settle for the 2 tone grey "cell" version of ravage coming into the game a little late on these guys. I think the 3 scale well with the MP autobot cars like Hound and Transform Element Mirage. The micros from both Takara and The new Fans toys versions are just a little to small to really scale right. Hound and Rumble fighting at the damn and Ravage ripping Mirage's arm off in episode 4 of the comic book for instance. Laserbeak and Buzzsaw I passed on. They look a little large and I wanted a few Micros for Soundwaves gimmick. I'm good with Ratbat being smaller as well but if MMC ever gets around to Ratbat I might pick him up and resell the Takara Micro.
Now if MMC would just get around to Slugfest and Overkill. Those would be awesome in this larger scale for certain. 🙂
Does anyone know if the Ocular Max cassettes are Marvel Legends scale? ( ~6 inches tall, if anyone is wondering) ‘Cause if so, I might try to track them down.
Why not rotate the shoulder 180 degrees? I would think it would help lock the shoulders in place while using the pile drivers.... I might be wrong though...
Ah yes, FiRRiB and RiRFiB, personally I'll say it's whatever Hasbro currently wants is to see them as. So at this point in time I do believe Frenzy to be Blue, but G1 wise Rumble is Blue and if Hasbro says Rumble is Blue again then I will fully admit that Rumble is Blue. Again, it's what Hasbro wants us to believe.

Regarding the dropping.. what if you reverse the shoulders? The drooping might be supported by the corners of those shoulder covers instead of just the joint itself? - Just a thought...

Could you rotate the shoulder joint and the bicep swivel 180 degrees when using the piledrivers so that the ball joint is up so that they don't sag? Or maybe rotate them so the ball joint is to the back if having them on top is "ugly".

For those commenting below and only grew up with the cartoon, go with whatever suits you but remember, the comics and the toys came out before the cartoon and Rumble was originally red and black. You only have to google and type Rumble G1 80s tech spec and you'll see it, or look at some of the comic covers and you'll see it is Rumble that is red. Sorry cartoon fans but the animators made a mistake which shouldn't be surprising considering the cartoon was awash with inconsistencies with their colour palettes to say the least. In the early episodes of the cartoon, they kept on getting the colours wrong for the seeker jets. I look at it now and I can't stop laughing. Love the Simpsons skit at the end. Hillarious emgo.
I didn't understand the comparison at this time... I think these tapes have been rethought by ocular max because the mp ones are too small and do not reflect the g1 cartoon where in many occasions rumble and frenzy were fighting against carbots showing just a tad of difference in height... Of course there were plenty of parts where they were a tad bigger than humans, but the point is that in my opinion these 2 guys had to be compared just to carbots...
I wonder if ocular max will make a giant soundwave that can store this cassettes
Dr Kenneth Noisewater repaint please!! In all 80's bad hair band neon colors! Also, seeing as the shoulder is on a ball joint and the bicep rotation could you rotate the shoulder up side down to limit the joint? Might make it a bit better
i wonder if with modern technology they could make a soundwave and his cassettes that actually play music? like it wouldnt be an actual cassette but just looks like one and each cassette could be a different transformers song
The instructions say not to force them closed while the power is off so how do you get them back fully closed? One of mine always drops open after using it once?

It was originally intended to be the blue one was frenzy but the animators misunderstood the notes in the scrips and so they made it as blue is rumble
