Para mí este disco lo tiene todo además de unir una trilogía como junto a los discos anteriores antichrist super star y mechanical animals holy Wood para mí fue el inicio real el verdadero comienzo a entender su filosofía su arte su forma de expresión Marilyn Manson hizo una obra maestra con este disco creo que a día de hoy cualquier banda que quisiera imitar su sonido sería totalmente imposible si no escuchara y profundizará el lo que fue la creación de este maravilloso album

Yo creo que para mi este disco lo dice todo ademas que su idea fue extraordinaria como de una acusacion de violencia la violencia lo mireis por donde lo mireis continua en la actualidad y es cruel desde cualquier sentido acusar a un musico ya sea marilyn manson o cualquiera para mi manson me a demostrado madurez inteligencia y saber estar si dices algo defiendolo no creo que sea un esclavo de nada ni nadie como lo a dicho el muchas veces a lo largo de su carrera en cualquier disco o cualquier entrevista pero las discograficas si lo a explotado como lo han hecho con otras bandas manson innovo algo que ya existia manson no es un heroe considero esa palabra inocua porque ser heroe te vuelve egoista cinico hipocrita etc.. Manson es un historiador lo que pasa es que cojio la Musica rock o el heavy para contar sus historias y lo a hecho bien creo que el rock and roll es el mejor estilo de musica para contar historias ademas de el cine tv o teatro el rock no es de heroes si heroe tanto en la musica como en la vida real corres el grave peligro de convertirte en todo lo contrario
@TheM169 I'm pretty sure I get it just fine. I give him credit; he's a very intelligent guy. It is simply that he's directed this intelligence toward creating and maintaining an appearance. His philosophy is internally consistent, and very relevant in its social commentary, but it is not as deep as he presents it to be. I agree with you when you say that the protests against him are basically ignorant.
He's missing the point about Christ. He didn't just come here as a revolutionary figure to sacrifice his life in vain for his beliefs; he came to die for us to give us everlasting life in heaven where no sin, no death, no pain, not devil exists. All we have to do is believe and confess that he is the savior and we shall be saved.

Para mí hay algo más que podría haber sacado Manson después de este disco se habló de que se escribieron un sinfín de canciones porque parte de los temas salieron de la novela del mismo título que en vez de un disco hiba a ser una peli que quería hacer o con David Lynch o Alejandro jodoroswky pero que al final no se hizo y termino siendo más un álbum entre Manson twiggy y jhon 5 ya que hera el primer álbum con jhon 5 en la banda por 5 no trabajo en mechanical animals ya que el entro con el disco ya hecho solo grabó las guitarras de panorama of the times que ese tema no está dentro del álbum sino que se hizo para el programa de MTV celebrity deathmach un programa sobre lucha libre de famosos pero de muñecos de plastilina
