Not only that, he's got a brilliant sense of humour and a way with words. He deserves so much respect. However he's now put me off trying his own Absinthe...

Goth music existed before him, Marilyn Manson as a band has very little to do with the Gothic subculture in general. I do think Marilyn Manson as a man does represent the goth culture in the mainstream. But goth music is way different than Marilyn Manson's music.
It's hard to imagine Manson without the make-up, but I don't think he needs it anymore, at least, off stage he doesn't. It's starting to make him look much older and cakey. The same way it makes Robert Smith look.
