The owner will be pleased with this configuration, I still have my 1995 W900L and it is prestine, everyone thinks it's a new truck but I wouldn't trade it for anything, it sports a factory rebuilt 6NZ550 twin turbo Caterpillar engine, 18spd AG400 8 bag air suspension, 289" wheel base studio sleeper and all the bells and whistles, here in Washington state I see guys still ordering flat glass cab trucks for logging and construction, I believe it's called a severe duty cab if I'm not mistaken, truck I had before was a 1981 W900A long hood with the aero-1 sleeper and also cat powered with a 5X4 twin stick, sure miss that truck. Great channel.
Bout dang time Kenworth finally came back with the 2 piece, split flat glass, windshield. They need to git rid of the stupid-assed looking door handles & put the triangle design back on their doors & sleepers. Need the Kenworth nameplates on both sides of the the hood. Good job Mr. Andy.
I love the stripes well done! KW needs to bring back the 50” and 60” modular flat top sleepers for the flat glass cabs

Good lookin truck! I really like seein a flat top W900 Kenworth! I'm not big on newer trucks, I feel like they've been neutered, I know they are still powerful but they ain't ol noisy nasty mechanical beasts.

Man, I wish you could get a more spacious sleeper with a flat glass configuration! It looks so awesome, but at the same time looks like a pain to actually have to use that sleeper day in and day out, at least compared to the more common ones nowadays.
The only things missing now are the flat bottom side windows with vent windows and a pre emissions 600 Cat under the hood like the last two I owned, as well it should be a treasonable offense to put a "Slush-Box" transmission it it !!!
Would look nice in black with gold stripes to make it look like a modern take on Snowman’s truck from Smoky and the Bandit. Great looking truck. 👍🏻👍🏻
Can you get the same stitching in the cab as the bunk? Always loved that strait stitch.

@The Kenworth Guy With the sofa that can be had on the 86" sleepers, do they have seat belts for passengers? If so, I would love to see a video of how one would latch the belts on the sofa. I can't find much info on the topic.
I like that,,, alot! I remember the old trucks from the 70's, and early 80's, and before. No power steering, no AC, and cab heaters and drivers would go out for 2, 3, 4 and more weeks, and with COE's.
But this trucks is great for 1-2 weeks on the road.
The old 903 cummins, 950 torque, these have come so far, and remember the roads werent as good as they are now.

That cab and sleeper with a 20k steer. And 72” spread on 46 rears would be a wet dream haha

A Flat glass W900 is perfect for something different. If Kenworth still offered the 60 inch modular sleepers, flat top and aerodyne, we might see more flat glass models, this one turned out awesome 👌

The only thing you needed is for the door windows to come out straight like they used to with a little smoker Window that’s the only thing you need to do that one would’ve definitely been a classic like the older if you would’ve done that but don’t get me wrong the truck still looks like the classic trucks right there not gonna lie to you it looks pretty good
You need to put some of these in stock. I had no idea you could still get the flat glass W9. Im so excited. My goal is to own one someday. I bet these could sell like hotcakes if brought more in.
If I could get stock trucks I would order them. KW put dealers on limited orders for all models especially the W9. It sucks!

I absolutely love the flat glass Kenworth w900 , if I was buying new , that’s what I would want ! I don’t know why they came up with the 990 , but I hope it’s not to replace the w900 , but if it does , you know I won’t be buying Kenworth anymore 😎
The W900 days are numbered. The W990 will eventually be our only "long hood" truck.

amazed more of these flat glass w900's don't get ordered but i assume that's largely due to the limited bunk option??
be super cool if KW offered the option of the same truck as this but with an A model hood on it so you can have the coolest looking truck of all time with the modern tech to keep the echo bunnies happy.
It's hard to be the modern comfort but old school is the coolest is my opinion

I drove by it when it was on the lot it’s amazing the dealers need to bring these in for the lots instead of all these slope nose aerodyne plastic things they call trucks lol
