@@joeseymour4073 from what I've heard, they measure with the seats all the way forward to the back of the cab. For an integral sleeper like the NGP Cab family (T680, 990, 579 etc) Should just be from the back of the door to the back of the cab imo.

Andy, this goes into my "one of my favorites" list. I`m more of a subtle elegance guy. I love the green flake with a slightly different shade accent green. The straight pipes really set the truck off. To me this is one classy, beautiful truck, tastefully done.
Yes! KW should be doing that at the factory! I don’t care for that big clear lens look these 990s have; what they did with the paint matched vinyl overlays is awesome! 👍🏻
What is the width between the steps and the fuel tanks on both sides, or what is the minimum you could do. I'm looking to do exhaust like this. Thanks.
That air shut off is a really good idea. Back in the late 70s I drove a tank truck in the oil field and had engine run away several times but was always able to get air shut off before any engine damage. That's one fine looking truck with coffin style flat top
Yehhhh finally both stacks work Question though about the gear ratio ; I always thought that the lower the gear ratio number, the faster the speed at a lower rpm. You said 3:08 lower.
Hey andy do you know when kenwoth plans to discontinue the w900L/B? Also can you still order a flatglass (two piece windshield) with modular style 42 inch bunk? My local kenworth dealer said he hasn't been able to order that spec since 2011. I call bs.
We looked at one like that recently but we decided to buy a Scania R620, it humiliates it in everything, the KW looks like junk, I didn't know there was so much difference between European and American trucks, greetings from Mexico.
Just wondering if anyone has enquired about putting a aero 1 type sleeper on one of these 990 day cabs🤷♂️🤷♂️would be interesting to see a computer generated design the kids make on their computers these days 👍🏻
What a shame how KW dropped the ball on the 990. Interior looks like a plastic Korean car from 20 years ago, terrible reliability from the electrical system. W900s just keep going up in value on the used market, no one wants these or T880s.

Yo ! diesel engs. We're not meant to be bogged down with lobbyist epa regs..it's cheaper by the mile to pay the fine deleting using FRUITPUNCH.
