I only just got the quest 3 a few weeks ago and loving it. Been a VR user since the second gen (technically the first gen) Vive but ran out of room to use it so been using the psvr2 for a little wile til I did enough research to see that the quest 3 can actually do almost everything the psvr2 could except eye tracking. Worth it for the wireless freedom and amazing pass through it has though and I’m able to play all my vr games I have on the pc wirelessly on it no worries! Can’t wait to see what more the quest 3 can do! Loving the hand tracking and want to see more games use that! Would be awake me to have shooters and stuff combine both hand tracking and controllers
Wi-Fi stability is still sketchy..on Virtual Desktop but especially via AirLink. Subtle but consistent latency increase on 6G and 5G, 2401mbs and 1200. Meta tech service has claimed it’s everything from graphics drivers to “it just needs a factory reset”..yeah, nothing helps. 🤷😢
V63 broke my WiFi 6e 6ghz connection. It drops ever 5 seconds then reconnects. Both my quest 3’s are doing that. Only 5ghz works now. Is this a thing for anybody else?

I don't have any IPhone so all this panoramic viewing I can't do. i don't belong to the Meta Quest Plus game club, most of those games are no interest to me - but nice to know there is a way to save money by belonging to the club. I will have to see what that keyboard/mouse item is all about. More and more AR stuff is coming out which is very interesting to know about. And lastly thanks for the info on EA sports WRC game now getting VR support. I have the game but have not tried it in VR. There are mixed reviews on You Tube on how well the games VR mode works. Meta is really doing its thing to improve and be one the best headsets out i love all the updates thry need more 1st party games thiugh to i guess kinda transfer over to a vr version but quest has become a staple for headsets i feel like yes apple is a little ahead and amazing but this headset will get there and for half the cost but right now if yiu wana get into a vr or aR headset this is it
I'm not sure what is going on, but I just tried Quest Air Link on Q3 and the image quality was absolutely superb - crisp, clear and sharp! Just had to remember to revert ODT encode bite rate to 0. I haven't seen it looking this good before.
That’s amazing. Air link became so broken for me for some reason lol idk why just became worse as updates rolled out. Meanwhile virtual desktop has never let me down like at all lol. But I do miss the native “rift” experience and the quest home I made for the pc side of things. That’s what they should be bringing to quest 3 imo
I was shocked because I've had big problems with Air Link in the past, but now, for me, at least it's clearer than VD and I would say as good as fibre optic cable. MSFS ran perfectly.

An important piece of information for anyone who thinks now is the right time to buy the Logitech K830, I just bought one used just to get a real bad surprise. For some stupid reason, Logitech thought it would be okay to release this keyboard in two different versions under EXACTLY the same name but not exactly the same features. One version with Bluetooth and one without. I got the latter one. I can still connect it over USB, but then it's not recognized as the K830 and it's not tracked. The one with Bluetooth has the pairing mode as the FN action on the delete key, so you see the Bluetooth icon there. The other version has a standby icon on that key instead and the FN action puts your computer in power saving mode. The packaging for the one with Bluetooth has a Bluetooth label and says it's compatible with Android and smart TVs. The other packaging is is just missing that information. Appart from that, both are exactly the same and you might buy another keyboard without knowing it. I wrote this comment on my Quest 3. With the controller. Not with the keyboard, even though it's right next to me.
Tilt 5 just made me appreciate passhtrough Q3 more. It took years to get after kickstarter to get it then years MORE to get before their software could let my 3-set able to play multiplayer from a single computer, and by then i was no longer interested in multiplayer board games (which is all it's good for over MR). It'd be ace for people getting it now and into boardgames though.
Apple, Meta and the rest should look at what’s being done at Cornell with Sonar as a smaller/cheaper/privacy-safer replacement for camera/optical sensors if they want to go cheaper.

My VR friends, I have played most of the famous VR titles out there both on PC and quest extensively over the years. I can tell you by confidence, experiencing Subnautica in VR is the MOST immersive experience I've ever had in VR by a long shot. Just install the VR mod and get a Quest 3 or better for graphical fidelity and you are in run for the Experience of you Lifetime in VR.

Hand tracking improved drastically in this version. My Q2 is not getting confused any more even when I put one hand very close to another.

Passthrough isn't entirely system-wide, you still get the void when accepting adb auth requests for example

Also in v65 you can now enable lying down mode on the quest 3, its in the experimental tab, i just noticed that minutes ago.
