@@breakthecycle5238 Kev does not reveal what he sells as he did it once and his own viewers went and stole the products to sell themselves. Vintage stuff sounds good. Im happy for them, i rather 3D printing and buying from china and selling here in the UK.
Kev has a free series on how to make sales. "how to make enough money to buy a lambo" i think. Its a blueprint on how to succeed. Worked for me!

ALWAYS run a killswitch on any 5th scale with an engine. Those things will take your leg off, not put a dent in your shin.
I remember my 1/5 petrol running away after a silly mistake, it ended up wedged underneath someone's car closely missing the owner, had to jack up the car to get mine out!

Wow, that was an intense durability test for that RC car! I was impressed by how well it held up against those obstacles, especially the drop from such a high height. It's clear that the manufacturers put a lot of thought into the design and construction of this car.
I can't wait to take it out my own built RC CAR on rough terrain and see how it performs. Great video, keep up the good work!

5th scales can take a lot of abuse out of the box. The biggest surprise I have with this DBXL is that it didn't rattle all of the screws out after 5 minutes. But it did make me happy seeing the god awful spektrum servo broken. The one that came with my 5ive T 2.0 died after a week of owning it. So I replaced it with an AGF servo.
Prolly the water got to the throttle servo causing it to fail.. ouch.. killed me to see that runaway lol
It stops being fun, when you might as well start lighting money on fire.
But you still watched and commented. Like, subscribe and smash that bell!

Bloody hell Kev. Yeah that was a durability test alright. When you were driving it normally it looked like a really planted buggy though. Handled the jumps well. Looking forward to watching you fix/improve it.

I have the same DBXL and my gas tank also leaked all over. I use a soldering iron to plastic weld it. The tank so far has been holding up with no leaks.

For the price, it’s pretty durable! Of course, I won’t do that extreme stuff. It’s even cheaper than a gaming PC computer. Better go out than stay indoors and play games lol.
Hi kev! You can fix nylon tanks with your soldering iron (drain the gas first). Epoxies won't stick to them

I couldn't understand how it didn't have a built-in kill switch ... but this was obviously overridden - your ride, but with 2/3 tank, that's at least 25-30 minutes' running!!
That's always been where petrol wins - the runtime.

I miss my losi 1/5 buggy the first gen mine had the 32cc with a tuned pipe it was pretty sweet.
This happened to me about 6 years ago was bashing with all the lads and my dads 1/5 baja 5b got stuck on full from getting wet and it ran away about a mile into side of one of our mates car

Hi Kev, a bit random but IAM building a Guillow 1/32 hawker hurricane to covert it from static model to RC but I don't really know what paint to use on the cockpit cover, exhaust pipes and air intake I was wondering if you could get back to me. I just finished my 5sc. I put an O'niell brothers fully modded zenoah 34cc stroker. It has 8 horsepower on pump gas. It is a blast to drive it. It is myssecond 5sc. Sold my first one. Will never sell this one

If you glue it with 2 component glue it can work to seal your petrol tank. I did it and it worked

Hey Kev, you might wanna Buy Plastic Glue meant for plastic. And you get yourself a plastic heating solder gun. it can repair "CLEAN" plastic. just use Acetone always before joining 2 plastics. Note you can use same plastic as filler to repair just like "regular solder jobs"

This right here is why Kevin's videos are 2nd to only looking at parts support on my research to see if I'm willing to drop the money on a rc basher I'm considering buying.. Kevin is certified MAD (that's f'n nuts to us Americans..lol).. If an rc can somewhat survive what Kevin puts it through (without going over it or running it in) it will have very little problem surviving what I will put it through.. 😂🤣
Up until zip tied the throttle I'd say it took what he through at it fairly well. And I don't know many that would throw that much at a heavy $1300 rc without expecting it to break.. Even after zip tied throttle it held up some to some nasty crashes..

No offense meant, but locking the throttle, if you have a serious steering malfunction, and that thing goess off towards the other end of the field, you come into the area of possibly hitting people with that thing. I think that was a bit careless. Jumping cars and driving like crazy is totally fine, but making a car locked into fullspeed is a bit stupid and shows a disregard towards your surroundings. The electric vehicles all have cutoffs if you suffer a transmitter or reciever malfunction, creating a possible torpedo is what YOU SHOULD NOT DO.
You'd think at 1600$ they'd have better quality control

Kev please quit saying double wishbone suspension. These cars only have a single wishbone front and rear. Double wishbone have upper and lower control arms like Arrma’s front end.

I enjoy seeing all these really nice Rc’s this guy owns and works on, I notice tho every time I partially watch some of these videos he just destroys them. Keep in mind guys these Rc’s are not made to run straight into walls at full speed.. they are made to be durable but that’s way beyond durability and more along the line of stupidity. I guess why not when you have the money to just trash the shit you own I guess you can 🤷🏻♂️ I never see fun really good driving videos I just see smash and break your $2,000 dollar remote control car videos, lol.. then again I never really watch his videos so I’m not trying to sound mean just most people don’t deliberately do those things with there expensive Rc’s they spend alot of time and money on.
